Good call for once and he's already being tracked or it wouldn't have been called a 5 last night. What a BS call.

I liked the line up changes, and prefer to have McGinn stay in the line up.
Have you watched the replay? Rome clearly knew that McGinn was coming, especially sice Lou sent it the same direction that McGinn was already going. and Jamie stayed on the ice (didn't leave his feet), and even turned when he hit him, should have been no penalty at all, not to mention this BS the NHL is handing down.

When is Kesler's hearing for the two-handed slash?

Haha. Jesus Kesler doesn't go to hearings. The NHL has hearings on how awesome he is.

Judas McGinn will get Jesus Kesler crucified along the boards tomorrow.

Play Eager next game, and if the result is clear late in the third period, then I'd see no problem in giving a bit back for that 2 hand slash Kesler cheaply gave in the final minute.

Well, i'm surprised he did not get a game or two. I'm not saying their was any intent, just that Rome got his head into the boards/glass which he was facing.

So, i'm thinking scratch him for Eager or another player (maybe 7 d) and eliminate
retaliation from the nucks tomorrow.

I wouldn't. I would leave McGinn in there. If McGinn distracts the Canucks from playing the game, then it makes the game easier.

There wont be retaliation. It was only Rome, if it was Kesler or a Sedin, then yeah I'd expect Retaliation.

Jamie had a great performance in game 3, and unlike Eager he did not take stupid penalties. We need his speed against that quick Vancouver team.

I'd be glad if the Canucks start retaliating. It means they're rattled and not focusing on the game at hand.

Never underestimate the stupidity of Torres.

A major with less than 9 minutes on a penalty the coach thought was correct is a stupid penalty. I agree with needing his speed but I wouldn't be surprised if he stays in the lineup or is scratched.

Thats what I was thinking. How is it that much different than the foot stomp by Bobby Ryan that got him suspended for a couple games during the regular season?

Um, that was in the playoffs and it got him suspended a game.

I agree. They need to keep McGinn in. I think he was a big factor in the game 3 win.

He knew he was coming, but not like he turned his back because he knew he would get a penalty called on McGinn. He saw him and made a play back behind the net.

I didn't say it was intentional, but it was reckless.
