Even though Kaberle hasn't played well and is currently their 5-6 Dman, it doesn't matter what they gave up its all about results. Kaberle could have played lights out and Bruins lost in 7 games in the 1st round it would be viewed as a more of a disappointment.

all you did was show you have no idea what player's value is

as much as kaberle has been crap in the defensive zone, he's tied for 2nd in points in the team with the least ice time. he's still capable of making those outlet passes that lead to goal scoring chances. that's why he'll get his $$$

Maybe he can't play well under Julien's system?

He's played his entire career on Quinn's all offense team and Wilson's
the best defense is to always play in the oppositions zone. This is really
the first time he is playing for a defensive coach and system.

Good thing Colby played lights out last year.

I`ve ALWAYS stated that Kaberle was a CREAMPUFF overrated by Toronto media.

At least after the trade we didn`t have to hear those constant trade proposals and rumours about Kaberle moved out of Toronto.

So Bruins fans, I ask you this question

Who is the better player now in the playoffs Kaberle or Kelly?

A late 1st round pick + a decent prospect

vs

a late 2nd round pick

ouch

The good thing to come out of this is that another GM should not be duped into thinking a creampuff out of Toronto is any good to a contending team.
