Leave's Boston with :

Lucic - Krejci - Horton
Marchand - Bergeron - Seguin
Peverley - Kelly - Caron
Thorton - Campbell - Paille

Seidenberg - Chara
Boychuk - Ference
McQuaid - XXX

Thomas
Rask

$12,904,167 to get Marchand re-signed, a capable puck-moving defenseman that is defensively sound, and an extra. Not too bad.

I could also see Paille, Peverley, and or Boychuk dealt as well.
Sounds like you need Brian Campbell

UFA:
Ponikarovsky has no place left to play on the Kings. Handzus isn't going to take a pay cut, or at least enough of a pay cut, to stay in LA. I could see Harrold being brought back, but just as easily could see him let go.

RFA:
Other than maybe a few minor league guys, no reason the Kings wouldn't qualify their NHL RFA's.

Trade:
People say Smyth, but I just don't see it. Nothing major if anything did happen on the trade front.

Probably Beleskey and Sexton too. It'd be great to put Jason Blake in there too but his contract makes him almost immobile.

I truly have a feeling the Rangers are going to make a push for Hemsky.

I have no evidence to base it off of but the connection with Tom Renney and the current Rangers and their prospects just gives me a gut feeling that they will make a push for him.

Neither can I, but that's because I don't think anyone else will want him.

What do you see Sather willing to offer? I'm sure your 1st would be something Tambo would listen for.

Hemsky I'm sure will start the year with the oilers but will be gone by the deadline.

I honestly have no idea. Like I said it's just a gut feeling.

I think maybe something around one of our 2nds, Grachev or MDZ, and maybe another prospect.

Before everyone starts flaming me I am not trying to undervalue Hemsky because I have honestly no idea what Sather would offer, but like I said given the Tom Renney connection I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted one of our prospects that was picked under Renney.

Well Del Zotto is sure a nice start. But yes, it's a bit less than what Tambellini would probably be asking for. What are the chances McDonaugh were available in a deal around Hemsky?
