How about

Versteeg
Carle

for

Rights to Bryzgalov
Hanzal

Would obviously only make sense if Bryzgalov doesn't want to sign with PHX and likes Philadelphia.

nope, doesn't make any sense from the Coyotes POV. Don't need another D'man (who would be the highest paid blueliner on the Coyotes) or a small wing (who would be the 2nd highest paid forward in Phoenix), Hanzal IMO is more valuable and has a better contract than either of those 2 players. The player that the Coyotes most covets from the Flyers is Carter from a need perspective...

the whole premise is that the Coyotes will raise payroll where they can't take on Bryzgalov's contract if they get Carter and it enables the Flyers to lower the cap hit and negotiate before Bryz becomes a free agent...
The Coyotes won't help the Flyers to reduce their salary cap without helping themselves and compared to the Coyotes most of the Flyers are over paid (or perhaps I should say their contracts are too high for the Coyotes to take on to justify a trade other than who would be a top line center for the Coyotes)

OEL is going to be ****en insanely good, if DT didn't have a hard on for veterans he would have been an everyday player last year. He will be better than Yandle, and I don't think anyone will question that. Then you can have a contract already negotiated with Bryz. And you would get a first. The fans may note like it, but I'm pretty sure the GM would be VERY interested in it.

I wouldn't do it. I would not trade OEL. Gormley maybe, Yandle yes, but no way I trade OEL.

IMHO, as a Phoenix Coyote homer, this is overpayment by the Coyotes and MacLean would stick with the Flyers and offset the loss of Carter...

but anyways came across this article that claims there is mutual interest, the source is CSN philly so take it for what its worth.

so the real purpose for this thread is what people think would be fair value from philly for Bryzgalov's negotiating rights?
the value of bryz's rights is minuscule. jeff carter isn't even in the conversation.
