Easily Glenn Hall. Add Amonte.

Agree. Voters should do a little research before picking a "name" they know, rather than one they haven't heard about before.

Agree. Huge mistake picking Savard over Hall. People that don't have an appreciation for the earlier years of this great franchise shouldn't be voting. Voted Hall, Pilote should be next. add Paul Thompson & johnny gottslieg.

Yeah, no disrespect to Savy, but Hall should be #3 quite easily. 13 all-star games, 3 Vezinas, Conn Smythe, Calder, 7 time 1st team all-star, 4 time 2nd team all-star.

Pilote should probably be before Savard as well.

Glenn Hall of Fame.

Add Dennis Hull or Pit Martin to the list.

You couldn't be more correct. Hull, Mikita, Hall, Pilote, and then fight over the rest.

Glenn Hall #4. I agree with Savard at 3 (if not higher). Add Ken Wharram, Pat Stapleton, Pit Martin, Troy Murray.

Higher? then Hull & Mikita? Savard isn't good enough to carry their jockstraps.

I would put Savard as a tossup with Mikita for #2. Don't forget, if it wasn't for Wayne Gretzky, Savard would have probably been the dominant player in the NHL throughout the 80s.
But then again, many people consider Glenn Hall to be the best goalie ever in the NHL, but I'm just not sure how to compare goalies with skaters.

It's laughable to consider Savard the equal to Mikita. Not that it matters much anymore, but here are the relevant stats.

Glenn Hall. It blows my mind he started over 500 consecutive games playing without a mask.
