I'd like to bring Stralman back as a 5th/6th to the Leafs. He had some offensive flair.

Lashoff played good enough when called up.(a.k.a did not completely meltdown See:Lebda) There is no reason he does not a QO.

Most of us would give him a chance at bottom pairing minutes. If he does not show improvement or does not fit he will do good for the Marlies.

I wondered about Cumiskey myself. A year ago he was looking like a legitimate breakout player, then this year he got injured and didn't do much when healthy. He might not be the worth the money a QO would entail, but he's still an intriguing mix of offensive potential.

There's a good chance at least one of Hunwick or Cumiskey is brought back, since Sacco just loves his super fast defensemen. But if the Avs choose Hunwick over Cumiskey they're idiots; Cumiskey is by far the superior player (they're basically the same player except that Cumiskey has SOME offensive skill). Also Cumiskey will be cheaper.

It'll be interesting what decision they make on Stoa. He really hasn't shown much to suggest he'll turn into anything worthwhile, but he was picked before Stastny, so maybe management will decide to give him another shot.

I'm willing to bet both don't make the team next year.

Crombeen WILL be qualified. Certainly, the guy is a great fourth line guy.

I think Kostitsyn won't get a QO either.

I assume you are talking about Andrei because Sergei was Preds leading goal scorer (23) who also was tied for team lead in pts (50)

1. Because of that Sergei is going to get a raise (perhaps he'll get signed for up to $3.25M per year)
2. Few teams, if any, would offer-sheet Andrei and AK46 must go in order for the Habs to sign Jagr

Yeah, as others have said Ryan O'byrne will absolutely get qualified, TJ Galiardi as well. Galiardi had injury troubles this year, he's still going to be a big part of the Avs going forward.

Adrian Dater suggested that Peter Budaj won't be re-signed, meaning that Brian Elliott will most likely also be qualified and will be the backup next season.

Ryan Stoa has some potential though he's shown nothing thus far, and will probably be given a qualifying offer again. He'll be given one last chance to make the team; if not he'll play out the year in the AHL and then the organization will probably cut ties.

Kyle Cumiskey should be qualified IMO, he had a concussion and a whiplash injury this year, otherwise, he's still got some potential and is worth giving another shot. I don't think he'll make the team coming out of camp this year, but he's good depth to have in case of injury and does have decent upside if he can figure some things out.

Matt Hunwick on the other hand, should not be qualified. His play with the Avs was an absolute travesty

i definitely see Hanson, Irwin and Caputi returning, though.
Why not QO brunnstrom? He's eligible for a 2way qo...worse case scenario is he bolts to Europe or he's a marlie next yr.......no harm no damage

same for lashiff, hanson, caputi, even Irwin . Unless we need the space on our 50man list why not QO em rathe than give em away for free

Stralman better not get qualifed. I don't care if Howson wants him to be the number 7, don't want him back at all(nothing against him, I feel the Blue Jackets needs to change up the defensive corps and bring in new faces). Lepisto is a toss up but I think he would replace Stralman.

I really hope Mark Fraser is not a Devil next season, unless he's in Albany.

The Blues have alot of contracts to sign, BJ could be a casualty for that reason alone.

There's a better chance we qualify Salmela and NOT qualify Fraser. Fraser is garbage, we're not high on him at all and certainly don't want him back next year.

Nigel Dawes has been a beast for Hamilton. He'll get one. Boyd has been key, but not as much as Dawes has, so I don't see Boyd getting one.

Hab fans hate Pools for some reason. He's developed this habit of taking stupid penalties, but all that means is we don't need Carcillo now. He's still skilled, has a good shot, hits and back checks. Just our retarded coach doesn't like him.

Matt Hunwick, like Matt Lashoff suck. No one listened to me before, but now they know they both suck.

This is one of the stupidest posts I've ever read.

Andrei Kostitsyn will get an offer. He'll more than likely be back with the habs too.
