Jagr Not Coming Back to NHL

McKenzie just retweeted this

Jagr's agent tells @plysenkov of Sovetsky Sport Jagr is not considering any offers from the NHL at this time.

Sigh. I really thought he might come back this time.

It's a shame. I would have liked to see him return to Pittsburgh or play for the Bruins or Canadiens.

If he played for the Bruins it would have been a dream come true. He's probably my favorite player behind Parise.

I feel bad for the people who actually believed he was coming back. The guy does this all the time.

This. Montreal, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, it never actually happens, yet we find these rumors surfacing every year.

Wait wait wait. Jaromir Jagr saying one thing and then doing something different? Inconceivable!

Haha, a part of me really did believe the possibility of him playing a season with the Habs. Alas.

I guess he chose a path of money.

He could be still good player in NHL, but it is all about priorities. Strange decision in his age after all money he has earned.

It was never about the NHL. He just wanted more bargaining power to get a better contact in the KHL.

You never know but Jagr always goes for the money and knows how to get it, that's for sure. He has no shame in openly misleading people for a couple more bucks.

he won t get an offer from habs until the defense is set and done. That not saying he won t get one. Just that he hasn t receive an offer at this time. He wouldn t get an offer from habs till late july early august. If he is to get one.

Why would he want to come back...He can coast out there, show up out of shape and still be a factor...Here in NA he's gonna have to work for it. Its not as much fun anymore! Plus...someone might knock him down!

Wise move by Jagr. He wouldn't survive an 82-game season and the physicality of the NHL.

You sound like one of those bullies trying to scare somebody into doing something.

"Whatever, you don't even have the ability to play in the NHL, Old man."
Dramatic pause!
"I'll do it!"
