We need a big #2/3 C, not Kruger, not Turris, not any draft pick.

I will not be comfortable with our team if Kruger is centreing any line. I'm not sure who could be that guy, but Kruger should not be it.

Realistically there arenīt many true 2nd line centers available! I think Hawks would have to give up too much to get one.

A good 3rd line center is easier to find and would be cheaper.

The funny part is I'd consider that.

Wait, Eric or Jordan?

As long as the Hawks aren't giving up members of their core I don't think it matters. If you can get a legit 2nd line center that works under the cap then take whichever prospects you want.

I do agree a 3rd line center like Reasnor is much easier to obtain and much cheaper. I can live with Bolland playing 2nd line center and Sharp taking his spot when he inevitably gets injured.

Send a message via ICQ to DisgruntledHawkFan
Gagner would be ideal.

You won't get Eric for Hossa and you can't fit Eric under the Cap

Just a speculation!

I would love to get Dubinsky! wrote this in another thread...if Richards signs with Rangers, they are pretty stacked at center with Richards(maybe), Dubinsky, Stepan, Anisimov, Boyle, Christensen, Drury and Grachev. Allthough some of them play W.

Maybe maybe...donīt know what it would take to get him to Chicago!

Dubinsky has played LW most of this past season. And what would you be willing to give up for him? I imagine the Rangers would want a huuuuge overpayment as he is one of the leaders of that team and one of their best players.

Ok, didnīt know that. But he took 874 faceoffs with a 52.5%, only Boyle took more.
Rangers have a lot of rfaīs to resign, Dubinsky, Callahan, Boyle, Anisimov, Sauer and Gilroy...so they will be tight against the caproof, IF Richards signs there! And i do think they rather keep Callahan if they had to decide between him and Dubi.

easiest for them could be to buy out Drury or send him down...

I know...a lots of ifs and maybes here.

What i would be willing to give for Dubinsky? An excellent 2nd line center, good at faceoffs, can score and play physical, only 25.

Campbell + Frolik + Brouwer for Drury and Dubinsky?

we send Drury to Rockford or buys him out, really donīt know...i suck at making tradeproposals!!

The Rangers love Dubi.

I remember a couple people here made trade proposals for him last season, and even though he hadn't really started rising yet (like he did this season), NYR fans were still refusing to trade him.
