Quick! Someone photoshop a sword going thru the slug with a little blood where the sword pierces it.

Or a giant salt shaker pouring salt all over that abomination

Until the plastic emblem/sculpture stuck to the scoreboard is removed, the slug still lives in the home of the Sabres

I thought I read somewhere that the slugs on the lower part of scoreboard are being removed this summer.... Can only hope.

No need to redecorate. Keep the old stuff as remnants of Sabres past.

I have relics from all Sabres eras, and I cherish them all.

Pre-1996 original:
-LaFontaine jersey
-pennant
-bottle opener

Goathead era:
-Satan jersey
-blanket
-a few hats
-a few shirts
-a Zippo lighter

Buffaslug:
-Miller jersey
-blanket
-set of pint glasses
-several shirts
-lounge pants

New originals:
-Myers jersey
-a couple hats
-a few shirts

God, I have a lot of Sabres stuff. And that's just the stuff I can think of off the top of my head. I probably have more.

They are - I was just noting that some memo doesn't remove the visible proof hanging inside HSBC...

What about the Sabres Store marquee? AFAIK, it still uses the Goathead-era wordmark.
