If most Canadians truly wanted a Canadian team to win, they'd cheer for Boston. Not enough people realize how Canadian this Bruins roster is, while the Canucks don't quite have the same amount.
Side note: The Canucks play at Rogers Arena. The Blue Jays play at Rogers Centre.
As far as I know there as 17 Canadians on each roster at the moment. Could be wrong about that though.
Looking forward to an awesome series. Was afraid of you guys coming out of the East, and well, here you are.
I'm voting with what's left of my heart. Bruins in 6 with a triumphant 1-0 win in game 6 at the Garden. Seguin on a breakaway to win it.
Bruins in 7. Old friend Recchi in double OT ring the inner part of the top corner post and score while KSP, in total disbelief, erupt in joy a few seconds later...
I think it will be a pretty easy serie for Boston, I've not seen that many boston games, I might be wrong but I think boston play a more physical game, and from what I can tell canucks cant take physical presence.
Hope Chara lands a big blow on burrows and torres.
History on Bruins' side vs. Canucks
Canucks away in Boston: 8-38-7-1
Canucks at home vs Boston: 17-29-8
Overall:
In the 108 regular-season meetings between the teams, Boston is 68-24-15-1, while the Canucks are 25-66-15-2
It's remarkably fitting that these two teams are facing each other in the finals. Two cup starved fanbases, teams that are focused on depth and balance throughout the lineup.
So glad I have the option to watch this one on NBC so I don't have to listen to canucks superfan Jim Hughson and superdouche Glenn Healy
Amen.. AMEN! Whenever I watch a game on CBC I feel like turning of the sound and just comment on my own. Can't stand Jim and his
"OH MY GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!! LOUNGO WITH THE BEST SAVE THIS LEAGUE HAS EVER SEEN!!!!!!!! HOLD ON I HAVE TO CALL MY MOM AND TELL HER!!", when it was the most easy save ever made.
I saw a local sportscaster say it didn't matter who won last night because Vancouver was going to beat whoever won. It's nice to be counted out again.
Everyone on TSN and Sportsnet have said the exact same thing. There's absolutely no love for the Bruins by the media outside of Boston. I'm fine with that, I'd rather be the underdog than the team that has been handed the Stanley Cup since October.

I find the guy annoying less for his homerism than for the fact that he just repeats the same phrases way too often.
GRRRRRRRRREAT SAVE LUONGO! I guarantee you'll hear "grrreat save luongo/thomas" at least 100 times this series.
