Pacioretty update

Quote:
@TSNBobMcKenzie Quick Max Pacioretty update. Fully recovered from all injuries, could play now if there were games to play. Working out, feeling great.

Good kid. Strengthen up, keep working on that shot and you'll be a beauty.

Good...hope he'll not be scared on the ice after the accident...remember Zednik? I'm pretty sure he'll be alright though!

Great to hear.

I'm still going to be worried every time he takes a big hit though, post concussion symptons are so unpredictable. It sucks because I remember never being worried whenever he was hit because he never seemed to get hurt.

He won't likely be hit hard until pre-season. That's quite a lot of time for the brain to fully heal.

That's what I was thinking. If we was hurt in October and fully cleared in January, then jumped right back into action, I would be more concerned. The fact that he is ready now, but will still have 3-4 months before training camp means that he should be just fine.

Players that went through this all responded differently. That's the good thing about max, he seemed to had almost no post-injury symptoms. He's young, he's working out hard right now, he was active on twitter during the playoffs lol. I mean, yeah, he could shy away from the board and play a more cautious style but honestly, everything looks pretty promising in his case. He has the look of a warrior ready to go back on the ice and ''chop Chara's stanley cup final loser head off'' figure of speach.

That gets overblown. Zednik had his best offensive seasons in the two years after the hit. Zednik declined because he was a middling talent that was only good enough to be a good top-six winger at the prime offensive years of his career (aged 24-28).

Doesn't matter, the guy would NEVER deke forehand and hit the middle of the ice after his injury. He became the most predictable player in the whole league.

Who doesn't. Limited talent, huge heart. Who doesn't remember this?

2nd best fight in the past 10 years from a Hab next to Rivet vs Marchment.

I also always thought he had a bad ass beard/hair combo. Bit of a man crush on the guy. I was crushed when he was traded, but looking back it was probably the right move at the time. Will always love zednik.
