Every THN yearbook from 1996-97 to 2009-10. I caught myself offguard and didn't grab this year's yearbook, so I now have to do some traveling to a bookstore where it didn't sell or pay extra on ebay.

I was trying to build my collection through ebay, but I'd be looking at almost $15-20 + ship for a lot of the older editions. Maybe down the road I'll do it, but a few Christmas gifts that need to be bought, THN Yearbooks are not that high on my list right now.

I sent you a PM. Sorry for the month it took to respond. I assumed an e-mail was sent when a PM was received. Obviously I was wrong.

Just in case you don't get it. Google the name Lee Zats and he should have what you are looking for. I have bought some from him in the past to complete a couple holes I had in THN volumes.

I have a few Hockey News dating back to '60 & '61, might have 1 from '58 somewhere in my collection, Hockey Pictorial & Illustrated from the 50's & 60's, hundreds of magazines & game programs from the 60's through the 90's, ton of HN from the '70's to present, scrapbooks of newspaper clippings & boxscores from the '30's (mostly Bruins, Habs, Rangers & Eddie Shore's Springfield Indians) all part of a massive collection that includes thousands of autographs of players/coaches/announcers/refferees from the '20's to present. Card sets from the '60's through the '90's (including a complete set of '54 Topps)My entire home has been swallowed up by this collection! The collection was started by my Grandfather and has carried on through generations of my family.

I used to have quite a few of THN Draft Preview until they were 'accidently' recycled. I used to go through some of the older ones to see which prospects made it and where they were ranked.

That's the awesome part of going through those old issues. Reading the incredible hype jobs for players that ended up complete busts.

Anyone know where to get the media guides for the ECAC for the 1976-77 season?

FINALLY found the 1980 THN Yearbook. That yearbook has been the toughest THN issue for me to find, for some reason.

It was the last one I needed for my collection.

Also, to those of you who collect, it would be nice to see some pictures. I'll likely be posting some of mine shortly. It would be cool to see others!

When I was 14-15 I had a bunch of hockey publications of all kinds, they were mostly between 82 and 92.... I pretty much cut them up and tacked the pictures I liked to my wall...

I just loved hockey and thought they would be cool posters...

I'm trying to collect all of these. Unfortunately they changed the design in I believe 2003 so I'm trying for all of them prior to that.

BTW need that one ^ and a few others

I remember these. Pretty sure I have '95-'03 lying around somewhere. I remember loving the complete transaction reports they included for that season in some of them.

I've saved all my hockey game programs, including a couple of old Boston Braves souvenir programs. I have George Plympton's and Ken Dryden's books a well as Zamboni Rodeo and a few others.

Ya I liked going through those too. I recently found that there was more than one cover for certain years at least. I've seen alternate ones available on ebay and also when I've googled them. I have the following

1990 - Wayne Gretzky ( 1st edition )
1991 - None
1992 - None
1993 - None
1994 - Missing the cover
1995 - Sergei Fedorov
1996 - Eric Lindros
1997 - Joe Sakic
1998 - Paul Kariya
1999 - Dominek Hasek
2000 - Wayne Gretzky ( Was expecting Modano )
2001 - Chris Pronger
2002 - Joe Sakic

The Sporting News Yearbooks have different covers as well.

Hockey Illustrated also did different covers for their regular magazine as well.

I was subscribed to ProHockey, there is a Czech/Slovak and Swedish version, for few years but it's, how to say it..immature press. It's like they are focused on 12-18 years old fans.
Peter Stastny wrote an very interesting book where he compares hockey in Europe and NHL, talks about early days for Euros in NHL, he played for three countries... Best book about hockey I have ever read.

Another intersting piece is book, which wrote Dzurilla, but not nearly as good as Stastny's book.

I have many another books about NHL(ers) but these two are most interesting and interesting photos there too, from personal archive of Stastny.

And here is something I was collecting for few years

Wow you guys have some great collections.

I was able to fill some voids in my collection via ebay and and some people with dedicated websites to old Hockey News issues. I was buying from the late 60's to early 70's, specific issues only and not runs.

I have noticed that Ab D Cards has quite a few more recent issues available at fairly reasonable prices.

For two very interesting reads I would suggest these two books.

Hockey Fastest Game on Earth by Red Dutton (Manager NY Americans) - 1938

50 Years of Hockey 1917-1967 by Brian McFarlane -1967

I am currently searching for a game program. I have now been searching high and low for 5 + years with no success. If anyone can be of assistance that would be great.

It is a game program from a game played November 9, 1969 between the Blackhawks and Maple Leafs at Chicago Stadium.

I would also be interested if their was any old archival video footage of the game.
