Definitely my first thought as well. I mean for Sather its a no brainer, and it puts JJ in a humbling position right out of the gate. Which I think is good for his performance. All of the NHL will be rooting for him to make it.
I don't think it will be Jagr. If he really wants to come back, he will get a contract without having to try out.

I hope people realize that Fedotenko was 31 coming into camp this season. He is hardly old, just didn't find a place to play during the offseason and had to earn his way onto the team.
I don't see too many ppl being invited to camp that weren't on the team this past season to begin with. The new ppl in camp will be:
Richards (or another FA if he doesn't sign)
Potential 1st round pick
All the other ppl that were on the team should be in camp (including Prospal and Fedotenko). Feds might have to earn his way onto the roster, but Prospal will get a guaranteed contract IMO. He'll be better as a reserve and who can come into the line-up and fill in to a couple different spots AND be effective in limited action. Hopefully EC gets waived in this process, since he's not as valuable as a guy like Prospal would be.
