Anyone see Felger on post game with Cedrick Maxwell? What a hilarious segment that was with Max wearing a B's game jersey and giving Felger his props about the B's going further than the C's. They also replayed last years segment after Boston was eliminated by Philly and Max offering Felger tissue paper for his tears after G7.
Was really funny.
I read in Nick Cafardo's column that TBS is courting Don Orsillo. I hope he stays. The Orsillo replacement, heaven forbid, could be the former B's TV guy who only did home games to keep his gig on WEEI. He's been filling in from time-to-time with Joe Castiglione on Red Sox broadcasts.
tomorrows radio will be delicious... I just dont have enough ears to listen to it all..
Team990, fan590, van1040, 98.5...
Felger will have a difficult time talking with his foot in his mouth.
few things on Felger. He has no problem being wrong hence the foot doesn't taste bad. Secondly, the guy was almost crying when the Bruins won he was freaking emotional. I'm sorry Felger in a weird way loves the Bruins, that was not fake, it was getting to him.
He says a lot of dumb-ass things some serious some for effect, but how can us Bruins fans not love what he has done- he has turned that afternoon show to a place to vent, make opinions, he plays crazy stuff about Claude (Hogan's Heroes theme song) for the anti-Julien crowd.
98.5 Sports Hub has become an afternoon 2-6 Happy Hour for Bruins fans to come in and smile, cry, vent, complain, rant.....its all there, and even Maz as the side kick Coach on Cheers adds some pretty good viewpoints and laughs.
I always can get a laugh at some of the Bruins stuff on the way home. I swear his daughter has a Lucic jersey
Felger is a weanie, but due credit. In this particular incarnation (remember espn boston?), he & Mr. Mazz have "brought it" per the B's.
Delighted to hear that loser 'eei has fallen on hard times. If you're tempted to feel sorry for jerks like "the Big O" or (less jerky but still) Ned Flanders, just remember what is was like only a few short years ago, when that station puked 80% Red Sox, 15% Patriots, 3% Celtics, and 2% B's -- all of it dismissive mockery.
Kind of hilarious watching some of the sports TV anchors struggling to jump on board the Bruins bandwagon. Last night, during Mike Lynch's sportscast, he identified Chris Kelly walking into the team hotel in Vancouver. Problem was, Chris Kelly had to be wearing a Tomas Kaberle bodysuit if that were really him. And then, of course, he identifies 'Taylor' Seguin. All aboard the bandwagon!
