Clearly you haven't been paying attention to the type of injury issues and production issues now, that Salo has been going through.

Maybe Nick Boynton if he doesn't get a contract somewhere

Needing to make some money fast and with the NFL lock-out it will be Tiki Barber...
But i'd prefer Phil Housley, Al Macinnis, or Sergei Zubov to run our PP!

Zubov would fit the mold.... comes off some bionic hip replacement and gets a tryout

Hank's brother sounds like the most realistic name in this thread.

One player I always liked since he was drafted was Lyamin. I have no idea if the Sens still hold his rights that we can even invite him.

David Kveton still on the radar to make it one day? He could get an invite.

I might be wrong, but didn't he refuse to come to North America unless he was offered a one-way contract and a guaranteed spot on the big roster?

I'm not very interested in them either, but they're players I could see the Rangers pursuing.

Whats wrong with coming to camp on the tryout and earning that one way contract with a solid camp and preseason performance?

You know like it used to be done back in the good ole days.

I was joking besides being a good dman I always wanted him on this team just for his last name

My guess also goes to Marco Sturm.

Wouldn't mind him on the 3rd line LW if he came cheap.
