LA to KC to LA to Vegas to Europe

Lotta travel early in the year, I'm hoping they get a favorable second half schedule.

We are AEG's show team to help them show off all their arenas Whatever, I am fine with American venues, it's when they are half-way around the world that alarms me.

I went to the last Kings pre-season game in Kansas City (vs. the Islanders in 2009). It's a beautiful arena and it was fun to chat with folks who don't normally see NHL hockey come to town. If you can make it to the game, it's worth going just for the experience.

They drew 10,000 for the game - not close to sold-out but not terrible, especially considering it was the Kings and Islanders and a half-roster split-squad game.

Back when Sydor was a rookie I saw an exhibition game between the Kings and the Pens in Tacoma Was.

It would sure be nice if AEG was more concerned about getting results than pimping out their assets to make them a few bucks.

Some things never change...

... and that's why the Kings won't win the Cup in my lifetime so long as Uncle Phil controls the team...

Would you rather that AEG make a few bucks or that the Kings had a better chance at the Cup? The choice seems pretty clear to me ...

Every time that AEG chooses the almighty dollar over the Kings, their chances diminish - it's that BS tennis tournament, the Emmys, Europe, whatever - just let them win it ONCE - then you can pull all of the bull$hit you want ...

The fact that you view the above as an either/or choice is what's baffling.

What's baffling is why AEG and you think that it's OK to keep doing this to the Kings. I can't imagine that you think that it's positive - at least not a negative.

You're ignoring what I said. The Kings can do well - even win a Cup AND AEG can make lots of money. It's allowed. Both can happen at the same time.

Why add any more issues than are absolutely necessary? I want them to win the Cup - not win the Cup in spite of playing everywhere other than Staples.

What's wrong with focusing on the primary objective?

... unless the primary objective is to make more money for AEG instead of winning the Cup? Why add ANY unnecessary distractions simply to satisfy the AEG money machine?

How many road games will the Kings have to play to equal the miles they travel going to Vegas, KC, Europe and then home to LA? Stupid scheduling-especially if Brad Richards isn't signed!

The one thing I hope is that the organization doesn't use all the travel as an excuse for the team's struggles.

LA gains more exposure and I like it. This team will win not because it travels to different buildings but because of the talent it has.
