Practice today.

As expected, Robin Lehner (11-3) is first goalie off the ice for #BSens. He'll make his 16th straight start tonight in Game 3.

Joy Lindsay
Nothing official, but judging by when he left the ice, Derek Smith might be playing tonight. Schira and Wiercioch still out there.

I'm really nervous but also really excited for tonight. Should be an awesome thing to witness here in Binghamton, especially if the Sens are winning!

can't wait to see the Broome rocking tonight on HD!

so is D.Smith in tonight or is that still unconfirmed?

....not sure KK would want to mess with a winning lineup

Derek Smith is one of the better offensive D-men in the league though. If we have to sit Wiercioch for him, I would do it.

Same here. D.Smith plays over Wiercioch in my opinion.

According to Joy's blog, the Zamboni convienetly broke down right before resurfacing the ice for the Aeros monring skate.

"Aeros are a little upset after the Zamboni didn't get on the ice until five minutes before their skate was scheduled to start and then broke down after resurfacing only 2/3 of it.

They are skating anyway, but Aeros GM Jim Mill appeared to be yelling at the ice crew about the way that played out."

Bit of gamesmanship... Reminds me of Anaheim having "scheduling conflicts" around the Sens' pre-game skates in the 07 Cup Finals. If I remember correctly the Sens ended up canceling them because they were way too early.

Yeah, I think they were cancelled. That made me so very, very angry.

You definitely need to get a DVR! I'll record one of the games and watch either later tonight or tomorrow...just undecided which one I should watch first.

Probably watch the Bingo game first since there should be less spoilers for the Nucks/Bruins game on our boards.

Especially considering we use 2 Zamboni's..

EDIT; MaindotC, both your seats are good, no obstruction..it's the 2 other corners where the video boards are located..

If anyone is still trying to find tickets for the game tonight, the BSens Facebook page just posted this:

Quote:
Due to seats being released back to the Senators by the American Hockey League, select tickets are now available to the General Public for purchase for the Wednesday June 1st game. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com (until 3 p.m.) , by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or in person at the Binghamton Senators’ executive office 3rd floor Arena or the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office (1st floor).

¿¿¿Roman Wick hurt last nite???

Joy Lindsay
#BSens on the ice for practice at the BCVMA. Roman Wick, who appeared to be hurt on a hit in the third period last night, is not skating.

It looked like a hit to the head--he was leaning down and the Houston guy caught him along the boards.

I caught the TV broadcast--there was no replay, but the pass went up the boards and Wick was hunched down getting the puck and got drilled. My guess was a concussion.

Do they let guys charge like that all the time (Bingo was guilty as well) in the AHL? If so...no wonder guys get hurt.

Interesting lines:
Condra-Locke-Butler,

Hoffman-Potulny-Keller,

O'Brien-Z. Smith-Daugavins,

Greening-Bass-Dziurzynski.

Ottawa Senators General Managers Bryan Murray and Assistant GM Tim Murray are watching from the stands.
