Erixon trade has to be completed by 5. Rangers trying to get it done. Prospect and pick in deal.

Brooks just tweeted NYR have permission to talk to him. Conditional trade is in the works. No word on what's going back if he signs.

Jay Grossman is on twitter

He just tweeted

Quote:
RT @Fronts16: Good luck to C Durocher in the Soo, and welcome to the Fronts Igor Bobkov, very happy to have you, more moves to come
https://twitter.com/#!/Jay_Grossman/...11837480644608

Shouldn't be talking to Cam Hope and Slats

You guys are kind of scary with your instant Twitter-to-HF posts.

Prospect and a pick? My money is on #45 and one of Bourque, Kundratek or Valentenko.

Got to believe it's the 45th pick. And maybe Pashnin?

Call me crazy but I think I'd rather deal Valentenko than Kundratek. But either is expendable at this point.

High on K-tek and V-Tank but if it takes them to bring Erixon here, so be it.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see who/what pick goes the other way.

And does everyone post the second LB tweets, leave it to the pros(RB), refresh first boys and girls

Loved Jan Erixon as a player and for a forward he was not much of a scorer. IMO though he was the best penalty killing forward we ever had. When Erixon got hold of the puck there was no getting it away from him. He'd take it to the walls or a corner and kick it up and down the boards and drive other teams nuts--sometimes with two or three guys all over him he'd kill off 30 seconds + all on his own. He was just about as strong on the puck and as relentless as you could get.

Would love to have his son on our team. Not giving up Kreider for him. If Calgary decides not to move him I would consider picking him at the 15 spot as he looks like a sure thing after two seasons of development.

Rangers, who went with Kreider at 19, loved Erixon at '09 Draft..

I've been thrilled with the Rangers moves this year!

Hopefully, this gets done. I'm going to guess Kundratek is the victim.
