That being said, the Pens aren't without flaws themselves. Who knows how Crosby will come back, meanwhile Malkin's production has taken a bit of a dip and Staal was pretty underwhelming offensively with first Crosby then Malkin out.
The Pens desperately need a good winger. Whether Neal will turn into that is unknown, but their next best offensive players are Kunitz and Cooke, and Kennedy who's going to be wanting a raise. They have to resign Talbot as well.
If Fleury wasn't flat out dominant for a majority of the year (especially once Malkin went down), you don't see the Pens doing nearly as well as they did this year.
