The Montréal Canadiens are proud to select, from Nobles, Stephen Miller.
We just see a lot of potential in this guy. He's already physically mature, he's a born goalscorer and he's not afraid to give and take punishment on the ice. He has the drive to get better, and we will give all the time he needs to round out his game at higher levels.
Okay, you guys gotta either slow down or speed way up, lol. I'm going away for a bachelor party weekend, and I get the feeling you're gonna push my pick to Saturday or Sunday. I really don't feel like making a list and committing to only 2 or 3 players at this point.

Chicago has been PM'd.
Impressive research, way off the radar with most of your picks but when I follow up for more info they sound like really strong prospects. Oleksiak still seems like a do-over of the Tinordi pick though
I am pretty friggn Happy with this result. I'm abit surprised, kinda seems abit unrealistic/overpowered >_>
Jonas Brodin
Lucas Lessio
Markus Granlund
William Karlsson
Victor Berglind
Ok ... I am going to take a flyer here with the last pick, HEY its the 7th round anyways, we were only supposed to do 5 .. lol .. P.S: I did a search and didn't find his name already drafted, so if somebody misspelled his name, I am sticking with my pick, lol
With their 7th round pick in the NHL draft, the Los Angeles Kings are proud to select, from Novosibirsk Sibir in Russia, defenseman Nikita Zaytsev.
"Nikita is a perfectly bilingual Russian Defenseman who has already stated his goal is to play someday in the NHL. With some work on his positioning, amongst a couple of other things he needs to work on, he can become a good overall defenseman and a valuable asset to an NHL team".
I believe he was .. I was surprised he wasn't picked last year, he has some skills and is willing to come to N.A when his contract runs out in 2012. Must have been that Russian thing
Zaytsev was second on my list at that point... So were Tvrdon and Wittchow for that matter, so yeah, I kinda like LA's draft.

Where did you uncover Stephen Miller?
Thanks, I suppose I do disagree about Oleksiak, obviously. I wasn't a big fan of Tinordi last year, and still isn't, so I don't really feel that way here. Miller and Jensen were really close... But I just felt Oleksiak, potential wise, could bring more.
As for Miller... Call it dumb luck I guess. I was searching names on this list http://www2.hfboards.com/3.7.hfboard...d.php?t=913265 And for some reason, decided to look at Miller while I was searching players around him... And I really liked what I found about him.
I seem to embrace them..I drafted three overagers this year, heh. And I had to fight off the urge to draft another that I also liked a lot last year (but will remain nameless for now since he's still out there).
