Interesting, Aaron Dell is invited. I hope the Habs offer him a contract.

the list

BTW how will Leblanc be participating after his shoulder surgery?

edit: it says he's injured, so will probably do off-ice stuff
He has an "I" next to his name so maybe he only does non-contact/skating drills.

Dell would be a nice addition if we could convince him to leave UND, Rawlings also has nice stats.

I think they did 2 months ago but he decided to stay at UND, I'm sure they'll use this as an opportunity to try and change his mind.

Hey, I have a question regarding a couple prospects.

Will Kristo, Leblanc and Tinordi be playing in the AHL this year?

Also, is there any chance Conboy/Schultz can earn a 4th line roster spot this year?

Thanks,

Not sure about Kristo but I believe he will still play in the NCAA, Leblanc will be in Hamilton (unless it's Montreal which I doubt) and Tinordi should be back in the OHL

Thanks. I assumed Tinordi would be back in the OHL.

Why would MTL not bring Kristo over? He will be turning 21 in a couple weeks. Don't you think it is time to move away from the College hockey and start developing against stiffer competition?

I believe it's NHL or College, not 100% sure

They decided that since he's so slow now, and he's good at blocking shots, he'll just play goalie. They still wanted him for his locker-room presence, but he was signed as Price's back-up goalie, since they expect Price to play 82 games next year. Didn't you hear?

Hopefully this guy gets a good chance to show what he's capable of.
Hopefully he realizes with Boyd and Dawes heading to the KHL, he'll get top 6 minutes next year. I think the other good thing was that he only played one year in the KHL and I don't think he got top 6 minutes their either.

Either he is serious about developing and stays or he goes for a bigger payday. Either way we find out where he stands and what he is made of imo.

What if Avtysn plays lights out a training camp, do we keep him or send him down? Realistically speaking, one more year of the AHL should do it.

Charlie Hodge once told me the story about how he got to try out for the Junior Habs. He got a call asking him to come to the rink. When he showed up he was so small that a coach thought he was a 12 year old who snuck in. The coach told him to go home. So the team called him back and asked him where the hell he was. So he returned and the same guy told him to shoo again. So he went back home to Lasalle a second time. And then he got a third phone call ordering him to come and stay regardless of what anybody told him. So he did.

Eventually he made the NHL and was a tandem with Jacques Plante.

So the point is some of these guys like Brendan Gallagher are so tiny they might get turned back at the door. They had better watch out for that.

Delmas & Quattrocchi ALWAYS get invited to these things, and yet we don't have their rights. These guys just love being training dummies.

Whatever happened to Andrew Loverock? We used to bring him in a lot too.

Anybody knows anything about Joe Hartman? I'm liking his size and his great hockey name. Smells like toughness.

I have a feeling that Delmas will be in Hamilton next season. I'd like the Habs to re-sign MacIntyre too

So anyone have any info on these guys?

What's the connection to Miami University?

Hopefully Avstin can take part in the actual drills this team, I think last year he had his wrist injury so he could only practice stick handling in the corner by himself.

We signed Delmas to an AHL contract last year I think.

Anybody know anything about any invitees?

Lack of both Pateryn and Bennett is interesting, but I guess they wanted to keep a number of spots open for try-outs on D. Maybe we'll see one or both of those two at the second camp.

Interested to hear how some of those D-Men and Goalies look!

Somebody who follows the Q closer than I do could probably say for sure, but I remember reading Evan Mosher was one of the best goalies in the league last year. Don't know anything about the other invitees. Probably just spot-fillers.
