I'm intrigued, but this will probably be a big letdown.

RDS looking for ratings... i'm sure it will be something along the lines of "Muller to be named coach of Dallas"

I think it would be cool if Selanne finished his career back in Winnipeg.

They asked him. He said something like "No, I'm too old for that. Maybe my kids will one day."

Well.
Given that it's Mario Tremblay, we can assume he does have contacts and probably CAN break a news. On the other hand, he probably does not have the type of variety in his contacts that Bob McKenzie has. Mario's contacts are going to be restricted to his friends who played with him and to the Canadiens organisation.
So that's that, it's something that has to do with one of his old friends or the teams he coached (Lemaire coming back to NJ for one more year, Brodeur retiring?) or the Habs (Contract signing, Muller officially leaving for ??? and replaced by Cunneyworth etc...)
Outside chance it has to do with the Nordiques.
And real outside chance it has something to do with none of the above.

LOL RDS
Looking for ratings so badly.
If they really had a worthy breaking news, it wouldve been up already on the website.

God, this sounds interesting but I remember how RDS hyped the Roy incident so much last season and that was pretty much nothing....
Anyways, wouldn't surprise me if he returns in the NHL as long as it's not with the Wild.

I don't believe it's something that important. If it were, it would either have leaked by now, or RDS would release the news as soon as possible to prevent someone else from getting the information and releasing it before them. Maybe he's going to be replacing Kirk Muller as an assistant coach?
