OK boys and girls we have a quandary.

We are really liking Kevin and the hope would be he becomes a mod here on the Preds boards if drafted but we would have to trade up for him. is Kevin worth 2 potential Preds fans? because Nashville got hosed in the draft lottery we pick 23rd and 35. (Out of 40).

Now note, Kevin is already looking into Pred ticket packages and I have sales staffers emails and numbers to pass along to ATL fans.

Should we draft a known quantity or pick up two guys and wait for the expected Lindrosing of the other teams and be patient?

In other words, To be Poile or not to be Poile.

I had this one pegged as soon as I read it. Am I right?

(and I was a bit disappointed that you gave it away at the end there)

I count 5, total 5 war rooms for the dispersal draft. That kind of disrespect will earn your Nashville stripes.

Also, the limit is 2 months for the draftee to wear the team's colors then they are a UFA>

poile has traded up before. I believe he did so to get Watson.

he also did so to get Legwand.

as for this draft, dont waste picks. Take BPA at our position and then TAMPER, TAMPER, TAMPER...

We traded up to get Chet Pickard, but stayed at our position last year to take Watson.

We traded down from 15th to 18th for Pickard. We traded the 15th pick (Erik Karlsson) to Ottawa for the 18th pick (Pickard) and a 2009 3rd rounder (Taylor Beck).

I was thinking we traded down to get pickard (gaining an extra 2nd) then traded both 2nds to moveup and get Josi.

Edit: I see wfome covered the pickard part. And the tradeup i was thinking of was josi.

double edit: I knew I was right... in the same draft we traded down for pickard (we traded our own pick to ottawa) we traded Floridas pick #9 along with our 2nd to Toronto to get Wilson at #7(which is easy enough to get confused with Watson haha) and we traded our 2nd and the third we got from OTT to toronto to get Josi.

Tamper? ****, I've offered hostesses, cash, I've asked about specialized ticket packages. I made the SEC look like the IVY League

She pretty much nailed me. I'm the "Skilled Euro" in the draft. Good technically (i.e. spelling and punctuation) but prone to disappear for stretches at a time.

You should mention that you are female. I was billed as one, if not THE only girl.

Oh and I already have some gear (Obviously this was Halloween in Smashville lol)

C'mon...on this team Pekka Rinne and Patric Hornqvist are best friends. You should see them interact on the ice together. Both are extremely competitive and never give up on a puck even in the most mundane practice drills.

Excellent work on the jereseys. Those are truly outstanding. I kinda want one (without the draft pick part obviously) for my avie. Or in real life would be nice too...
