Hah.. RDS is so amateur, it's unbelievable.

How is an opinion a big NHL news?

Mario Tremblay n'est pas le genre de gars qui spécule pour attirer l'attention. Le Bleuet c'est un vrai. Il a des infos pour dire ça.

The big new is that Crosby's career could be compromised because of concussions ? Well... I guess everyone might have, at least, tought of it. RDS, or how to attract viewers.

No news... Me, Mario Tremblay, I think that ...

Actually, he stated two facts : Sidney's parents are worried and twice during his junior career, Sidney felt major headaches (which they interpreted as Sidney had 4 concussions since the beggining of his career)

They clearly did this to get more audience. I mean they don't have the most "sexy" subject" tonight so they have to used other tactics to get more viewers.

Bergeron had a pretty bad one. He seems to have his career right back on track. But god almighty, this is Sidney Crosby, canada's blessed child, I sure hope he'll be ok, and he'll be able to return to form. This is a guy who would have one the art ross, Rocket richard, hart, ted lindsey, and potentially another stanley cup, with a conn smythe on the side. That is a ridiculous haul for one season, and it's such a kick in nuts to see that chance taken away from a canadian. Hope he'll win them all next year, well, accept the cup ofcourse, that has to go to the habs.

Quite the pathetic attempt from RDS to lure some viewers there. I really don't see how you can throw a ''Big News'' flash line and tell viewers to tune in for it. If this isn't a clear marketing scheme, then I don't know what is..Especially when the news is not even, news.

Assuming Crosby has suffered two concussions because he's suffered big headaches in the Junior is as credible as what Chris Rock said his dad use to tell him to do when he broke a bone, poor some pepto-bismol on it.

Crosby hasn't played for a long time, and his concussion is taking longer to heal. Who's parents wouldn't be worried about their son's health if that happened?

Making a headline out of this is seriously retarded. Did Crosby pass more test that showed he won't be able to play for a significant period of time? Tremblay heard some things and gave nothing more than an opinion on them. I never knew the opinion of some analyst was news worthy.

Boy oh boy, this doesn't look good for RDS.

What the hell RDS? Speculation on front page? So much hype? As others said, this is really amateurish. Lame.

Anyway, good thing it's just speculation. I wish Crosby the best. The league needs him.

So why on tsn says he is cleared to practice?
http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=367679

Make it feel like he won't be ready for training camp...

lol RDS is BS , but Mario didn't say this out of nowhere.......I'm sure it's not only his opinions but also the way some people close to Crosby (medical staff, agent , coach, teamate) feels.

the only "news" about Crosby is this (transcript from RDS website)

Mario Tremblay a aussi obtenu la confirmation que Crosby a été victime de deux incidents au niveau junior dans l’uniforme de l’Océanic de Rimouski.

Guess time will tell if he'll be OK to play again, but MT conclusions are based on this info (concussions in Rimouski). To him Sidney had the concussions we already know of from this year as well as other(s) in Jr.

Even before the Roy fiasco I had negative feelings about Le Bleuet because of his separatist leanings. He hasn't done anything in the intervening years to make me feel any warmer toward him.

Yes, he did. He apparently spoke to Brisson, that told him pretty much what the whole world already knew. What was his crazy news was that he found out Crosby suffered big headaches in Juniors. So he made the assumption those were concussions, which is wrong to begin with. Then uses that wrongful assumption to suspect his career might be on the line.

If Brisson, or anybody else felt that strongly about the possibility of Crosby not playing again, Mario freaking Tremblay would not have broke the news.

Coincidentally, TSN is reporting Crosby was cleared to resume working out.

This was nothing more than an opinion, and I'm even more disgusted with RDS for making headlines out of some crappy analyst's opinion. RDS should be flat out shut down, they are pathetic.

WTF are you talking about? I don't think he has ever talked about his political opinions... And how exactly having different political opinions than yours (if It was the case) makes him less competent as a hockey analyst?

The problem here is not Mario Tremblay. He learned new informations and wanted to tell his opinion about it. The problem is RDS turning it into some kind of major news.

There's nothing wrong about making some assumptions, as long as it's clearly presented as it is : assumptions. I think that's what MT did. And that's what RDS marketing department did not.

572 points in 412 games.

If Crosby had concussions in the past he must be pretty beast.

What an irresponsible declaration. Mario Tremblay is not a doctor, he should not speculate on things like that. And to present this as "news" is just embarassing for RDS.

The saddest thing is that you are not even exaggerating

Crosby roared out of the blocks at 18 and was (is?) only getting better and better

Steckel should be banned, imo

ps. Rocket Richard and the Stanley Cup are deserving of being spelled with capitals, don't you think?
peace.

Maybe you should rejoin the discussion when you grow up.

As for Mario, I hope for him that it's more than speculations.

I can't believe people actually watched the show to find out what it was. It was clearly an attempt to draw ratings and it seems it worked.
