Haha, that was one of the greatest things I've ever seen on the internet. Great find! I love the Mikita drill.

Played softball yesterday. I'm an outfielder and let's just say it was interesting. Winds were blowing it so balls were dying like you wouldn't believe. Luckily for me I only missed one ball, and it went foul

Are tickets for the draft only available in the upper deck? I got my 4 yesterday and they were for the upperbowl. Just wondering if there are better seat available to the public. As of right now, I have a total of 8 tickets. Possibly getting 14 total. If anyone wants/need tickets I might be able to part with some. :-)

This was spotted at Apple Valley Ford yesterday (same place I picked up my Shelby). The owner of the brand new Boss 302 Laguna Seca drove in his Ford GT Supercar for the picture. He's bringing home his LS302 tonight... (the owner is the bald guy in the corner of the picture)

I have a thing for that chick in the Heineken commercial that is seemingly aired about once every 15 minutes. Even though I can't quite make out what she really looks like...

Asteroids Galaxy Tour?

this **** is stuck in my head constantly.

edit: i hadn't even seen the Heinie commercial until i googled it. I think that song was a Current Song of the Day download a few years ago. for whatever reason my iPod plays it on random pretty much every time it's on for more than a half hour. If any of you like free music and are willing to put up with some crap (can always delete--i don't ) for the sake of variety, i recommend KEXP and Current's (free) song of the day casts. I've got a little over 1700 songs i've kept over the last few years. I treasure variety over all things so it really works for me.
Anyone else have any other song of the day type podcasts?

Think I'm finally going to migrate from the 360 to the PS3.

Finally. What made you decide to do that? I have both (360 was given to me for an old PS) and I play the PS3 a lot more. Seems like it has more and better games for it and I don't like paying to get on the internet, that I already pay for.

Horrible reliability on the 360 coupled with paying $60 a year just to go online. Hopefully I can get $150 for mine and sell some other stuff to raise the cash.

I bought my PS3 on ebay for $180. I swear the person selling it was stupid. They sent it in just a box. No newspaper. No nothing. I think it's a testament of how well they are built as it still worked.

I've got both, and maybe it's 'cause I got my 360 first, but I get quite a bit more play out of it than my PS3. A lot of that has to do with having waaaaay more XBL friends than PSN friends, plus general system/controller preference. I will say PS3 has been ramping up the exclusives lately, though (Critter Crunch notwithstanding) I think XBLA blows the PSN marketplace way out of the water.

Also, have you been paying attention to the PSN fiasco over the past two months? You may just be the only person who's moving to PSN right now.

When I did a lot of gaming, I was on my 360 nonstop and my PS3 collected dust. But like most, that was because of the people I played with were all on the 360. 3 other guys and I had a CoD team that competed in a tournys and what not. That was a lot of fun and we actually made some good money, not to mention we received some good stuff from our sponsors. But life caught up to me and I no longer have any time to play...

In my experience, if you're in it for Live play the PS3 doesn't compare. Though, for me, I've taken to the PS3 exclusives much more than I have to the 360's of late. I favor my box because of the mod so I don't have to pay for my games anymore.

Also, just a heads up, Redbox is going to start carrying console games nationwide in a few weeks...

I have a PS3 with firmware 3.5. I've been doing some reading and I think I might try to jailbreak my system.

I'm never playing online. I did last year for a few weeks with COD4, but I'm not an online guy by any means. I mostly use the 360 for Netflix or streaming movies from my computer, which the PS3 can do for free and wireless to boot. And the fact that I'll probably have to replace my 360 in a few months anyways (disc drive is acting up) means that I'd rather spend the extra $100 or so to get the PS3.

As for the games, I don't really like Halo or Fable and already played Mass Effect, so the exclusives aren't that big a deal anymore. I would like to try the Killzone, Little Big Planet, and Uncharted games. Plus I'm excited for the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD releases.

Oh yeah, and Blu Ray would be nice since I have a 1080p TV.

Seriously, Xbox Live Marketplace is the ****. Geometry Wars, Super Meat Boy, Shadow Complex, Castle Crashers, Braid, Limbo, Pac-Man CE... some of these are as good as or better than disc games, and only run like $10-15.

So, I'm playing NHL 11 in Be A GM mode with the Wild. The Coyotes offered me Derek Morris (83 ovr) for Cam Barker (81 ovr). 1-1 trade. Guess what I did!

Seriously, Barker is so overrated in NHL 11.

Not sure anymore. I know that we've had 60,000+ posts in the last 15 months though and when I compiled it last year we were something like 6th or 7th in the West.
