You were off by one - just take out the equal sign.

I've been watching the first season of Parenthood.
Is it just me or does Peter Krause look a lot like Nik bäckström?

So, um, thinking about attempting a DIY lawn darts. And the dangerous kind... Just trying to work out what I could use for the fins. Anyone got any ideas?

Friends and family are on a serious yard game kick. I've basically made any and every game you can think of. But if you've got a lesser known game you like, tell me about it.

I dunno, usually a cooler full of beer and ice and some bocce balls and I could care less about other yard games after an hour.

yeah, i think he was born in Alexandria or grew up there or something. Or I could be mixing him up with that guy from Deadwood.
They're both from here though.

SO MUCH WIN!

fins? I don't know, but I always thought it would be relatively easy to mod one of those nerf footballs by putting weights and a huge nail in the nose.

That's not a bad idea. Maybe I'll buy one of those and rip the football dealy part off and try to fashion a sharp-ish metal rod into it somehow.

Oh man, the way this is going we may need to have 911 predialed on the phone...

Pros - between not drinking for a week and the cold bug, I'm down 10 pounds.

Cons - going to be absolutely useless for hockey tonight, plus the ravenous refeeding post-cold bug will bring back a few. Oh, and not drinking.

Woohoo, two steps closer to getting the PS3. Traded all 10 of my games and finally got some bites for the Xbox on Craigslist. Next step: sell some other crap and find a place that has the PS3 in stock.

Judging by Microsoft's horrid E3 press conference this morning, you probably made the right decision. Finding a PS3 shouldn't be too tough, BTW. I don't think there have been real shortages for like four years.

What was so bad about it?

Honestly the woman wants Kinect, but I spent $200 on a Wii and another $100 on the Wii Fit and she played it twice. So I don't care. And it seems like nobody wants to make a decent hockey game for the Wii, or Kinect, or Move, or whatever, so meh. I haven't bought a new NHL game since 09 so I'll buy than in September, and probably that's it.

Get Little Big Planet. She'll play that. My gal does...

I had a ton of fun with Uncharted and Infamous.

That's definitely on the to get list. My favorite games are typically RPG's, adventure style games, and puzzle platformers, so that's right in my wheelhouse.

IIRC, they didn't show any gameplay except MW3 and Tomb Raider, both of which are multiplatform, followed by a bunch of really horrible looking Kinect games, which appear to just be people flailing about while unrelated video plays on a screen in front of them.

I expect Nintendo will blow us all away tomorrow morning, as usual.

As for PS3... Uncharted 2 is phenomenal. MLB: The Show is far and away the best baseball game. LBP is really cool but the physics can be frustrating if you're used to something tighter like Mario. Heavy Rain was a cool experiment, but maybe a rental.

Get Critter Crunch on PSN. That game is like crack, if you like puzzle games at all.
