Not saying it's not a penalty. Even call it a 5 minute. But I think kicking him out is crazy.

Rome takes too many dumb penalties even if I am not a fan of Horton.

Strong hockey play, this.

You see Rome's feet leave the ice, at that Kill Zone angle, right on his head, Horton falls to the ice and has his arm extended like Frankenstein with his eyes wide open. This ladies and gentlemen, is the cleanest hit since Chara on Pacioretty. Aaron Rome is an inspiration for us all and a worthy Lady Byng candidate because his sportsmanship. You didn't see him dive or whine, the true plague of hockey, he just laid it in there.

This is what Montreal fans tried to prevent after Patches got hurt but we were called whiners.

I completely agree, as much as I hate him. I mean, we reacted worst on the Pacioretty hit because Patches was vulnerable and the hit was late : That's the same thing here. Players are suppose to know what's happening on ice and where the puck is ; Rome didn't even started the motion of his check when the puck left Horton. (and they said on RDS that he jumped after or before ? Didn't hear it)

Not at all! When you play dirty, you gotta expect to hit this way once in a while.

Prevents shoulder hits? Might as well take all hits out of the game. This isn't even close to the Patches hit but Horton acts like he was shot in the head. LOL

Subban doesn't skate watching his pass. Horton just like Lucic thinks he can skate around and no one will touch him.

Like they pretended that Pacioretty was a Bruin right? I hope Horton will be fine but after the crap they spewed about Pacioretty they get no sympathy from me sorry.

Good.
Karma has finally woken up.

That wasn't a game misconduct, ya penalty but no misconduct.

Strong hockey play.

Paging Dr. Recchi, paging Dr. Recchi.

I will be livid if a suspension comes of this. Strong hockey play. Don't admire your pass.

Rewind it if you can and freeze it. First point of contact is shoulder to the head. That's a headshot. More than a little late as well. I hate those hits no matter who does it.

I don't care what people say that wasn't a game..for that crap. Shoulder to shoulder and they cry like it was the end of the world. When patches gets smashed into the buckle...hes faking and its BS. Bruins will do anything to get back into the game. That was embarresing. Horton is a POS!

There is no rule against headshots though. Only against blindside headshots, and this wasn't one. No suspension.
