What happend to Recchi. He is such a bitter old man.
He put on a Bruins jersey is what happened..
After seeing a replay of Horton laying on the ice that looked much worse than I thought.. Karma or not I really hope the guy will be fine.. Really sucks to see a player down like that no matter which team he plays for..
According to the NHL the only thing Chara did on his wrong when hitting Patches is that it was late. The only thing wrong about Rome's hit, is that it was late. I expect a phone call telling him not to do it again. No suspension.
Well ain't karma a *****! I don't normally like seeing players get injured. But this, I got to admit, felt like justice. I doubt Rome gets a suspension, for an interference. It was a 1 second late big hit, no elbows, both skates on the ice. One could say it's finishing a check but most definitely an interference. But others should say Horton should have been looking where he was going and what was coming. I agree with kicking Rome out in order to keep things somewhat under control. At least, this isn't as disgusting as Chara's actions on Patches, that would have been disturbing in the finals. Big blow, and as Bruins fans say, a strong hockey play (which it is).

Les fans des Bruins viennent de sortir une baie vitrée de son ancrage. Des fous furieux. Aiment mieux les mises en échec que les buts!

If you count from the time Horton releases the puck to the hit its roughly, 2.3-2.5 seconds.
If that's a late late hit, then Chara's on Pacio was and entire day late.
First of all, sympathy to Horton and his family. Secondly, I have no sympathy at all for Bruins fans considering the crap they posted in the wake of Chara/Pacioretty.
Third, isn't Recchi supposed to be one of these classy veteran players Subban is supposed to look up to, what's he doing face washing after every whistle?
Fourth, I can't wait for all the hypocrisy coming from the Bruins organization, their fans, and the NHL in general.

When Pacioretty got hit, the fans wanted the rest of the game to be as soft as possible because we felt we had seen enough violence. The bruins fans reaction..screaming for revenge after every single hit layed on the nucks players. over cheering little hits is so annoying.
Another good clean hockey play... Neely looked like he was going to start crying.
When Pacioretty was laying on the ice remember Shawn Thornton was on the bench laughing. I don't feel anything for Bruins karma is starting to catch up, Cherry just showed Thornton taunting Rome before he went and hit Horton.
