Great to have you on board, cws. I am so sorry you had to go through losing your team. I can't imagine how you feel, even though we were very close to losing ours. If you need anything when you come up feel free to let us know, and we will get you taken care of!!
Welcome cws (hope that doesn't stand for "can't win squat")
No can do on the scotch but would be happy to introduce you to our Tennessee native Jack Daniels or one of my Kentucky preferences Makers Mark, Woodford Reserve, or Knob Creek
Anyone got a good link to a place where I can check out the lowdown on the state of the team?
Happy to be on board!
Beautiful thing about HF Boards is that it has its own embedding system for YouTube videos.
Welcome to Nashville. We look forward to developing you into a major posting presence, though you will obviously have to pay your dues on the AHL board first. In the meantime, have this:

It's actually my initials. But many a creative name has been penned off of it.
Please, everyone feel free to come up with your best. I will happily select the most creative (ie dirtiest) of the bunch.
I prefer scotch, but I'll drink pretty much any whiskey there is. I've had some of the most awful, stomach-shredding ones out there. I surely can't be a snob about it.
And of course there's beer; truckloads of beer.
Man, anyone that references Dalton's as food most missed hasn't been around Nashville in a while Didn't it have its heyday around 1998 along with Green Hills Grille? There was an "e" on Grill wasn't there, just to seem, uhhh, Green Hill-ish.
Belle Meade Cafeteria anyone? Anyone? I may just wander off and start my own history of Nashville restaurants thread. Don't mind me.

Anyway, welcome to Wally World. Enjoy!
I only lived there for 18 months, was poor for a good bit of that time. I ate slightly better than a Ramen diet (and ate Ramen a good bit too).
Dalton's was about a mile away from where I lived, convenience more than anything.
Always regretted not trying more places. Next time I'm up that way, I'll be more than happy to take any suggestions of where to get my grub on.
