Berger was the one who impressed me the most. He's big, great shot, decent skating, can't wait to see him perform in Hamilton this year, hope he gets some quality ice time.

Gallagher is clutch. I now understand why he scored that many points in the W.
Sounds like a guy who was there today also

Who was the one player that stood out above the rest?

Nice, I'll take that.

How about the mood of the players. These guys joking around with each other, or is it a more serious mood?

Not much we can tell from these types of camp.

Could you elaborate a bit on those two?

On D, Tinordi and Nash were the two who really stood out from the rest. Especially Tinordi, should be a great shutdown D for the Habs in 2 or 3 years.

On Offence, Gallagher was everywhere on the ice. He competes hard and his really clutch. His wrist shot is very accurate, on the net every time.

In goal, Rawlings and Delmas were both great. Dell was good too.

Was kind of surprised with Avstin's attitude, I thought he was a quiet guy but he was sometimes joking with his fellow Hamilton teammates. Tinordi and Nash looked like they knew each other, were always having fun.

So yeah great atmosphere out there

Did they post their real actual weight? McMillan didn't take 1 single pound in a year?

It can't be his weight. I remeber reading that he gained 10 lbs before starting last season. The probably need to update the weight and heights.

Edit:
They have him here at 160

http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/mark_macmillan

and on ther BCHL website as well, but they also have him at 6' here

He's awkward on his skates at times, but he has great balance. That's what allows him to knock people over so easily.

I don't know how much time it took you to gain 25lbs but the main difference between you and him is he is looking to make it as a pro in a sport. He just can't gain 25 lbs in one summer, it's too much. It would most likely affect his devellopement. If he keeps putting up 10-15 per year for the next 3 he will close or over 200lbs which is about what he should weight for a player of his style.

Was watching a Miami Ohio game I had taped, Cameron Schilling and Steve Spinell were paired up together. Didn't finish the game but if we ended up signing any I will. Hartman had a nice pass up ice to lead to a breakaway but didn't notice him too much. Schilling and Spinell both seemed to play a safe smart game, Miami had a high powered offense this past season but didn't go as far in the frozen four as they did the previous year when they lost in the Finals.

that's a good point. i was just saying that i know how skinny i was and i can't possibly fathom seeing myself as a hockey player

it took me about 9 months. and that's mostly because i've gone on the wrong side of 30... the gym just accelerated the weight gain
