Minnesota's got the best third jersey in the league. I'd kill to have a Backstrom one.
I also think you guys get horribly underrated, year after year. You have the flash (Koivu, Havlat, PMB) but you're very Nashvillesque in the sense that your team grinds out hard wins. I have mad respect for that, and specifically for a player like Greg Zanon.
But the biggest win to Minnesota's gotta be the fans. I've yet to speak to a Minny fan I didn't like even somewhat. Whether that's because y'all are classy as hell, or because you're not needlessly arrogant, I'm not sure. In either case, it's a huge breath of fresh air around these boards.

As a Leafs fan, it's hard not to hate Minnesota, cause their fanbase is so supporting.
And ... the Minnesota broadcast when the Leafs vs. the Wild, the commentators were the only people throughout the entire season that didn't trash talk the Leafs for a miscellaneous reason.

Hate a whole team because of what a guy did on prior teams? There's flawed logic if I've ever heard it. Pure genius. I hate Matt Cooke, don't hate the Pens. At least not because of that. Honestly it's stupidity like this that just makes me hope he lights you guys up next time we play.

No, Ottawa does not hate Minnessota. I didn't hate San Jose, but couldn't cheer for them to win the cup. Same in Minnie. No way would seeing Dany, "what's backchecking", Heatley hoist a cup be acceptable. I congrat San Jose for making it as far in the playoff as they did with his millstone around their neck.
