Schenn is alot better of a puck mover than people give him credit for. Hes no Tomas Kaberle but he doesnt have stone hands. Hes got a solid 1st outlet pass.

Seriously ...

You think you are getting another Hall who is going to step in to the NHL or even the AHL and be a lock to not struggle you are kidding yourself.

And the Oilers would kill for Schenn gtfo with that BS
GP---G----A--PTS
44---17---24--41
That's close to a PPG.

Seriously what has he proven in the NHL ? ? ?

Alexandre Giroux, is one of the best players in the AHL and yet he can't play in the NHL.

I would love to have Schenn on my team but not with the cost of RNH.

While it seems to be almost even, there is no reason for Toronto to trade away Schenn or Kadri unless a number 1 centre that is a bonifide superstar is coming.

He's not a 1st line center and he's not a two-way 2nd center.

I don't want to flame the Leafs best prospects but Kadri is a top 6 tweener imo.

Everyone seems to think he sat in the press box collecting dust when not playing with the Leafs.

Reality is he has done pretty much as well as we could have hoped for and is on pace.
If this was his draft year there would be talk of him with the others as 1st overall.

Just tell them all he is a bust and not for sale.

Honestly, Kadri>RNH until RNH proves he can do anything.
Gagner has already proven to be a #2 centre @ 21 he has had 3 full NHL seasons he's >>>>>>Kadri at this point which makes Kadri a non-issue in any deal to Edmonton. Schenn has had the most notable NHL career so far, but RNH has the potential to be an elite talent.

Edmonton doesn't do this deal.

Yeah, we're just going to take the opinion of someone who's probably never seen Kadri play in his life.

That's it. I've never seen Kadri play.

Keep him. Edmonton doesn't want him for the 19th overall nevermind the 1st overall.

Good thing the proposal isn't just Kadri for 1st overall.

As for not trading the 19th for him, now you're just being ignorant.

So you think, worst possible scenario, RNH is going to be a 30+ goal, 60+ point per season player?

Ignorance at it's finest.

This thread is so stupid now. Now it's just a competition of who can say no the hardest to this deal.

Schenn- taken 5th overall in the best draft in the past what? 5-8 years? Kadri taken 7th overall for the 1st overall in a weak draft? Nty.

Schenn - stay at home defender with intangibles. Solid 2-3 defender
Kadri - tweener with questionable character.

The Oilers aren't trading the #1 pick for Luke Schenn, and nobody outside of the GTA is half as excited about Kadri as the Leaf fans are.

Tell you what, if Kadri turns into some superstar down the road, feel free to brag about it later.

Why does Kadri have questionable character? Because he is a bit of an agitator on the ice?

The kid has worked really hard and put on a lot muscle since being drafted. He also made a ton a progress last year in become more of a two way player. Sounds like he's got a great attitude and good character to me.

Don't waste your time. If the player isn't an oilers prospect, he's obviously garbage.

I see 30 goals as his upside on a good year, but 60+ points should be his downside yes. I see his downside as a
15-45-60 guy
and his upside as a
30-60-90 guy

Ok. The former wouldn't make him the Leafs best player, just sayin.

Personally, I'd rather build my team around Seguin. I don't think you'd be saying the same thing if you had Seguin on your team.

I don't disagree with that, he definitely has good potential, but at this point Schenn helps the Leafs more and is a safer bet.
