I would just like to say, you guys are very lucky to have Mike Trout.

The kid has the potential to be the best player in baseball. He'll be incredible.

The Angels have a long list of recent "can't miss" prospects, so, on behalf of all Angels' fans, let's just wait and see.

Fair enough, but this kid is just incredibly impressive.

He's 19 (IIRC), he's doing really well in AA and he has all the tools to be one of the better CF's in the league.

He's posting better power numbers this season (.208 ISO and .514 SLG, both career highs), an OBP of .413, a really good BB% when compared to his K%.

Add in his speed (Which is a legit 80 in a prospect scale), and it's hard not to fall into the hype for him.

He's got a legitimate chance to be a 5 tool CFer in his prime. He could, when all is said and done, be one of the most valuable players in baseball.

I still don't understand that if he's so good, why did he go only 25th in the draft?

Oh, and Ducks and Angels fans aren't really the same. Like a lot of Angels fan don't like the Ducks, and a lot of Ducks fans don't like the Angels. The sports and mindsets of the fans' differ... there are some fans of both, but not a lot.

Cuz the baseball draft is even more of a crapshoot than the NHL draft.

The kid is absolutely terrorizing AA, but that success is terrifying for Angel fans. If/when he goes to AAA he should put up monster numbers in that Salt Lake ballpark.

Uh? We should let go of him, and sign him when he becomes a free agent! That will fix the McPherson/Wood/Mathis curse.

I wouldn't blame Rodney. It was a loss because we can't hit. Wells was a bust. He could have knocked in Abreu in the 8th, but naw. Instead, he's swinging at pitches that he has no reason at swinging. I really am missing Big Daddy Vladdy. Sure he can't play in the outfield, but this team needs RBI's. Odd, don't you think, that we draft a power bat whose only projected position is DH.

This team needs a better hitting coach. This team needs a shake up, but no one will take Wells' albatross salary (except us, of course). The only movable piece we have is Kendrys Morales because we have nothing else. Trout is not a movable piece, unless you envision movable as in moving up from the minors and into the league, then yes.

Bleah. Good pitching going to waste.

Wells was a desperate move and it turned out exactly like it was supposed to: BUST.

I'm hoping we tank badly (everything is going swimmingly in that respect) so Arte has no choice but to go after a Reyes or Pujols. This lineup lacks so much punch its laughable.

ha ha ha We actually scored first and won! (albeit lots of thanks for the many errors from KC) We're on a one game winning streak. Awesome.

Naw. It's a conspiracy to keep us in the hunt so that we don't trade away Weaver for a bunch of awesome prospects. LoL

At this point I think the Angels are going to try to do whatever they can to get Albert!

But in saying that, didn't Angels fan hear all that when they were trying to get Crawford and some other players. I will be pretty mad if they traded Weaver. He's a great pitcher that needs some run support.

Kazmir has been released by the Angels; can't say I'm surprised, he's been horrid even in the minors

Bye bye Scott, we hardly knew ye...
