35-17-5 with him in the lineup, 11-13-1 without. that says it all.

A beast. I personally consider him being this year's best defenseman.

Every time there was an oddman rush, I hoped it was Mitchell back there. Hope he stays a bit longer after his current contract's up.

I wonder if Dean talked about Murray at all? He and Murray are quick to blame the players for the "slides".

I know what you want to hear, but it ain't gonna happen.

That would be like your boss's boss coming into a room full of people that report to your boss and saying, "I can't blame you, because your boss sucks." It may be true, but nothing will sabotage a coach faster than a GM calling him out in the press.

I don't expect him to call him out, he has made the playoffs in back to back season, but I would like to hear someone in the organization raise some expectations with the management. This will be Murray's fourth season, let's stop with the defense only system with dump and chase. Possession is key in the NHL.

It would be nice to hear Dean acknowledge that the coaches need to be better too, not just the players.

I'm sure it's not going to happen. Just like Murray won't question Dean's moves either.

It would still be nice to have some public pressure on Murray to get the team deep into the playoffs and/or a division championship.
