Since I'm a young gun, my favorite of all time is Callahan. If I had to choose who wouldve been my favorite, it would be the all american, Conn Smythe winner, Brian Leetch. But since I'm only 19, Callahan is my favorite of all time
If I had to choose just one guy it would be Brian Leetch.
Back when I became a Ranger fan it was Rod Gilbert closely followed by Brad Park.
Later on Ron Greschner, Nick Fotiu, Mark Pavelich, Tie Domi. Adam Graves, Steve Larmer, Jeff Beukeboom and Mike Richter were also big favorites. Pat Verbeek in his brief time here. Jagr was great as well. Jed Ortmeyer, Darren Langdon and Joey Kocur--unsung heroes.
I like Avery a lot--though I'm not sure he's going to be around much longer. Callahan, Dubinsky, Girardi and Lundqvist. Maybe's with Stepan and McDonagh. Who I'm really waiting for now is Chris Kreider.
I've posted in the past about meeting Graves. I won't go into the whole thing now, but suffice it to say, it was one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me. What a genuinely nice person he is.
If I remember right, most of what Graves told you last year about the young players was very accurate.
