I think most will assume that he'll sign with us, but if we get to Brad Part 5, we should have a poll that asks, "Will Richards sign for a salary that will be acceptable to the fans?" That amount seems to be $7 a year over 6 years or less based on the previous poll. I wonder if fans think that he will sign a reasonable contract or not.

This team is not a lottery caliber team -- therefore, they will not be getting a high draft pick under normal circumstances. Professional sports teams don't lose intentionally.
This threads are so exhausting lol....its amazing how so much speculation can come from so little fact. Its all hearsay until it comes from brad richards himself or glen sather himself, those are the only 2 people who matter here. And the bottom line is neither are going to show their hands and weaken their position. I say 7yrs/7mill, anything over 7 yrs is a joke. As each day goes by, i feel les and less confident, and the people on here who have been penciling richards into our lineup since the day we got eliminated are so naive and need lives.
