Wade would make a great Canuck, battling through such serious, serious injury. Or maybe that hip pointer was actually a ruptured testicle...

Nervous sticks this time of year.
Tanner Glass had a galactic shank reminescent of Marty Gelinas bonking a game 7 open chance into the side of the net in 1994.

I also give Wade credit for actually walking back to the locker room all on his own. Such heart...although I did love the character he showed when he dislocated that shoulder and refused to go back to the room...until the wheelchair came to get him. He was so passionate that he actually had tears in his eyes. What a heart and soul guy. He would fit perfectly on a line with Burrows and Lapierre.

Tanner Glass has a name that suits him. Glass. Hands of Glass.

Pretty telling when everyone East of Vancouver has to tune into NBC because the CBC broadcast is so pathetic

Fraught with tension...the Canucks are trying to put extra passes into their plays...but...I just think its SO HARD to handle the puck/make plays under this kind of pressure.
I mean...its one thing to bobble a scoring chance and come up dusty...
Its a whole lot worse if you blow up on a pass in the high slot and it ends up going 180' the other way for a GOAL AGAINST and I can easily see one like that in the making here tonight.

The so-called best play-by-play man in the game can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

Well that's it, the Canucks have won the cup. Bruins PP cost them.

FFS Thomas! Awful, awful goal, and it's the 5th line scoring it.

Bruins have 0 goals, that's why they lost this game.

Hope their powerplay coach gets fired. It was their cup to lose coming into this game.

Yep, but it doesn't change the fact that that goal was just abysmal. 8 months to come up with a PP, and they can't even generate pressure. Should have been 2-0, but it wasn't, and you leave yourself prone to losing on a laugher of a goal.

Props to Luongo though for coming into this game after allowing 12 goals in 2 games an shutting the Bruins out completely.

There is no way the hockey gods will allow Lapierre to score the GWG.
