I think his point was that Bush messed it up.

That being said, get back to talking about hockey folks.

Yea shame on him then, because he was quoting Bush's silliness

Have any tryouts been interviewed or talked about? I can't find news about anyone of them. Not even Dell or Malka.

Sigh. You don't have to be bright to be pres, just dishonest. Quid pro quo and some help from Daddy.

Not much news from the dev camp. I'm eager to see Stejskal next year, though.

Also keep in mind that Colorado's defense is terrible while the Habs is pretty good. Our current standards for what looks like a good defense-man may differ.

Quite normal. the guy was playing 10-14 minutes on a third pairing in MTL (when he was dressed), and suddenly he was playing 20-25 minutes a game on the top pairing in Colorado. As you have probably noticed, Colorado had a huge slump in the second half, especially after the Stewart, Shattenkirk deal to St-Louis. (dumb move). They had numerous injuries on D, and O'Byrne played way too much for his skills set.

You will be really disappointed. He was terrible at camp.

I don't think the slump was due to O'Byrne, he was solid based on stats (not many points, but good +/- relative to the team) and according to game reports he was playing solid hockey.

Of course once Colorado traded a good goalie for a bad one the team tanked.

Habs is holding their Habs combine. Started yesterday, not sure how many days they have it though. RDS showed Huberdeau with the Habs sweater, would indeed look good. But that's the only thing you saw. Obviously, Habs do not want any other images to go through. It doesn't matter about Huberdeau, they know he's not going to be there anyway but the rest....is an absolute secret.

I'll try to get more infos on Twitter but they say that 30 players were invited, 22 from the Q. So what's REALLY more interesting are the following 8. And based on every single time that camp was done, if we knew those 8, we'd know FOR SURE, that at the very least 2 of those players would be pick by the Habs. Happened every year since that combine existed.

Any picks ?As in picks of Huberdeau in a habs jersey.

The habs seem to have a high volume of Q players only to draft somewhere else. So, like you said, those 8 are probably the likely players the habs will target.

Are you naive! He comes from a wealthy, politically connected family with ties to Yale. He was a playboy who shouldn't have been admitted. He took the place of someone more deserving. He didn't know a thing about international affairs and got the US involved in a disastrous, unfunded war under false pretenses. He took his country into the worst economy in 60 years and left it with the biggest deficit in its history.

Maybe the ties helped him get inot Yale, but he graduated Yale.. Perhaps he took someone else spot, who cares about that?

Also, Obama made their economy even worst.

Biggs and Saad would be a disaster. A return to the first round drafting philosophy that got us so many first round busts in the 90s.

There is a couple of very strong, atlhetic guys in the Shawinigan line up who did great at the NHL combine recently. A big forward, LeSieur and a D-man, Racine.
