I was wondering since I love to travel and I'm open to any option next year, I heard that Perth is kinda of a Mecca for surfers, how about scuba diving? Any interesting site around?

I don't know a whole lot about the surfing, but there is some really nice beaches around here, they hold one of the surfing events down south in Margaret River as well, MR is a great place to go, if you go you'd have to stay overnight at least as it's about 250km south of Perth.
Scuba diving is good in Rottnest, can also take a scuba tour to the shipwrecks that are off the coast there. Plus Rottnest has Quokka's . It's only like 20 min boat drive from Perth
Should go to the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland as well for scuba diving, it's awesome.

Thanks for the info, I was just searching for a good reason to come (when and if I come to Oz) all the way to Perth or just stick to the East Coast
I have my entrance exam next Tuesday and I'm starting to feel quite nervous. I started studying for it in January and I have read around 600-700 hours. Couldn't get into university last year but I hope that this year I'm bit luckier.

Go to university here in the US. Acceptance letters are handed out like candy at some institutions.

Drinks and a band sounds great...basketball not so much. When you are unemployed TV is cheap entertainment. Might go to the movies...got to hit Costco first for cheaper tix.

What a joke... Everyone is saying the value is close and that's all fine and dandy but why would anyone even post that thinking we could accept that???
I'm starting to think that 99% of people that post trades either overevaluate their own teams assets, people that post proposals when they see stupid eklund rumors or people that post NHL 11 trades or little kids that just dint get it.
