I am watching the BBC feed and someone mentioned the race window clock (2 hours) has been stopped. Usually the race would be cancelled if the clock ran out of time but it seems they have a long stretch of time to go racing this afternoon.
A 1pm local start for an F1 race seems to be earlier than at a lot of other tracks.
Latest update from overheard team radio is rain for another 30 minutes, so plenty of time to go make a sandwich.
