Just when you thought Canucks fans couldn't be having a worse night they bring Vancouver fan favorite Mark Messier on, lol.

And can you imagine if Ottawa chose to keep Chara instead of Redden? I bet lots of Senators fans thought about that a lot over the last few years.
I cannot really blame Ottawa management since Redden was a great defenseman at the time.

Redden has always been just average...he wasnt that great, just overrated in Ottawa. he was a top 4 dman but that is all. he wasnt tough or good at defense. sens defense isnt that good at all. at least they still kept Phillips. -35 and 1 goal in 82 games this past season, his game also went downhill. Daniel Alfredsson will be 39 this year and has had a bad year but hopefully he can pull a Selanne and have a rebound year. always liked his game since i was a teen.

I was never a huge Redden fan, was pretty neutral. But he did fit in well at the time with Ottawa. Certainly his stats looked pretty darned good.

Schneider was besieged.
Nice initial save he made.

I wish Bergeron would pound the snot out of Burrows. I really do.

Patrice Bergeron is probably my favorite player amongst both teams, next to Kes.

I think Schneider is a fantastic goalie he could be a starter on several other teams in the league. He didn't have much of a chance on either of the goals he allowed.

I missed it. Does Wayne actually give any names? He's usually pretty good at answering without really answering. He's such a diplomat.

Maybe they should ask Graves? ;-)

interesting stat:

Krejci 12th goal of the playoffs. now has the most be any Czech player in 1 playoff year.
Old record was 11 by Jagr in 1992 & 96

I actually feel for Luongo. He is a pretty nice guy by all accounts, but he just looks exposed in this series.
Fantastic when he is on, awful when not.

That guy called out the Vezina trophy winner for allowing a weak goal when he's earned the Ro8erto nickname. I dislike Luongo because he dives (Smithson in round 2) and cries to the media while blaming other teammates when he allows soft goals. (Salo in game 4)
