Simple formula. Score the first goal to get the crowd out of the game. Then keep them out of the game.

Is Edler hurting? That would be a blow to the Canucks.

I think we're overdue for some away goals. I believe we will score 4, and win 4-2. Let it be so, Lord.

I think the Canucks are done.

- Luongo talks crap on Thomas, gets 3 goals in 3 minutes, gets ejected, I dont think he can rebound with a strong game anymore. I really think they have an absolute stud in Schneider and its only Luongos untradable contract that makes them pump up his confidence over and over again instead of dumping him for his stellar backup.

- Kesler seems to play injured

- Raymond is probably out. So is Samuelson - important role players. They dont have a strong second line anymore. Malhotra is not back to 100 % too.

- Hamhuis and Ballard are out too. Add Rome to that - its half of their D. Their actual D is below average.

So after all - the Canucks have to pay for a long season and a long playoff run, while the Bruins have the luck of "only" losing Horton and having adequate depth thx to the trade deadline aquisitions - all props to Chia.

I dont even think it will be a close match. I think it will be a relatively clear outcome like the Dallas-Miami game 6, with the crowd having lost its belief in the team around the middle of the game and thus a crappy winning ceremony for the B's.. which is why I'm very sad that we can not win it all at home.

Forecheck the hell out of them and be Physical but don't play to lose and can't get into the matchup headgames.

Ranger fan here. Not that it matters but I'll be rooting for you guys from my living room on Wednesday.

Canucks are obviously a different team at home then on the road. Bruins really need to get down and dirty, forecheck hard and get pucks to the net early and often. The first 5 or 10 minutes are huge. They have to survive those first few minutes as I'm sure Vancouver will try to get out to a quick start. If they do they can settle the game down and start to grind it out. But to me the key is Luongo. I'd be shooting from everywhere if I was a Bruin.

Here's to a great game and a Bruins win. Good luck and enjoy it!

it goes without saying that the best part of game 7 is that we get to listen to the prepackaged cheer at the rogers center that exhorts those hard core fans to....

PUT YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR...
PUT YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR...

(prepackaged cheer with an annoying nasal voice i might add)

agreed, in game 5 Vancouver came out harder and hit us on every occasion, tomorrow I hope Boston comes out harder and hitting and make the Canucks regret they even had to show up for this game!

let's go Bruins

The Bruins obviously need to get to Luongo early. We all acknowledge that. The problem is, he's a basket case. Why is that a problem? Because he has convinced himself that he can't play in Boston. The problem is, he has convinced himself that he can't lose in Vancouver.

screw him. i just hope the B's haven't convinced themselves that he can't lose in Vancouver. he has NOT stolen those games, he has NOT had to "stand on his head". lets be reasonable, the refs will try to emulate the game that was played game 7 against TB, so crash that net early and often. at most they'll be given maybe one PP off of it. and our PK is lights out. the PP goal we let up last night was Chara trying to do to much to deliver a message. if everybody just does their job on the pk in game 7 they'll be just fine.

Hopefully Bruins don't give up any freaky goals off the backboard. Let's hope they can break the home advantage the Canucks have at home for a change.

"People are going to call us soft, but what can I do? We’re going to keep taking punches. That is the way we play." - Daniel Sedin.

And its why you'll probably lose. Not enough fire and heart out there. I dont agree with what Marchand did, but the Sedin's have truly dropped the ball this series, failing to inspire anything in their team to get them going. Only flashes of individual brilliance and poor offensive road play on behalf of the Bruins have carried the Canucks to 3-3. Wheres the passionate, revved up Canucks we expected?

Sedin's failure to even throttle Marchand as payback kinda sums up their series. You KNOW he's going to the box, you're down 5-2 in a game, very late in the third, you're not going to win, if you can't get fired up then, when can you? If I were a Canuck fan, id definately call them soft, and deservedly so.

at what point do we stop calling that play lucky and freaky and start calling it a set play?

I don't know how they managed it, but the Canucks were able to get me to cheer for Boston. I will be in your city next Monday...any chance that I could catch the parade? Are plans made? (no jinxing!)

They came darn close to pulling it off again early last night, which might have changed everything.
