One of the 1st's plus the 39th overall pick.
Most likely just to move up in the first round.

He's said (not just today but other times as well) that he wants to move 25 or 29/30 with 39 to move up in the draft.
So Boston or Philly's 1st plus Leafs 2nd

Do you want to hear that they are in negotiating and it's a process that will take time once again?

Why not?
If they see the player they want a few spots ahead and think he'll get taken before their turn I say go for it.
Are you happy with Luke Schenn over Filatov or Bailey?
I am

We better be picking twice in the first round. That's all I can say.

There's not much time left which is why I would ask the question.

Even if he trades the pick to move up in the draft, we still get two first round picks, so no damage.

I don't think he made a clear statement in this interview, but he's stated before that while he would like to move up, he still wants to draft twice in the first round.

I'm really busy right now but someone should definitely find out the worth of a 25th and a 39th in terms of moving up in the draft.
I would guess that gets us around the 15th slot at least but I haven't done my homework on that. Seems like fair value.

along with "if gretzky could get traded, nobody on the leafs are untouchable"
People always state the same **** on these boards.

No team is going to trade down until they see who is still on the board when it is their turn to pick.
You're welcome.

Think we will have to wait for your final report as you are the resident expert on the value of draft picks.

A simple "No thanks, I'm too lazy to look up past draft day trades" would do just fine.

Thanks, but my specialty is 2nd overalls, not 39th's.

yah agreed, that was a very good interview. Joe seems to have a very good head, kinda like reimer. He said right now hes about 215-219, so with the rest of the summer he could reach 225-230 which would be very good. Lets just hope he gains most of this weight from legs muscle so he doesnt slow down cause he wasnt the fastest of players already.

I just told you about the mechanism behind all draft day trades.

I missed the Colborne interview. They just talked about his weight and conditioning the whole time or was there anything else, like where he expects to play next year, if he's been told by Wilson or Burke anything... etc
