yah agreed, that was a very good interview. Joe seems to have a very good head, kinda like reimer. He said right now hes about 215-219, so with the rest of the summer he could reach 225-230 which would be very good. Lets just hope he gains most of this weight from legs muscle so he doesnt slow down cause he wasnt the fastest of players already.
My hopes for Joe is to develop into a #2 guy on a cup contender team, he's got the hands of a top 6 fwd, wins faceoffs, and seems like a good character guy. Dare I say a steal from Boston? The good thing about him is he's from the 08 draft so the wait is almost over, the kid was developed partly in another system, and now we are almost ready to reap the rewards.
What he needs is to learn the defensive coverage systems in the NHL, and to continue to use his big frame, I see nothing but good things in Joe's future.
I'm really busy right now but someone should definitely find out the worth of a 25th and a 39th in terms of moving up in the draft.
I would guess that gets us around the 15th slot at least but I haven't done my homework on that. Seems like fair value.
I'll quote myself from a post from a while ago on this one...

2. Montreal traded #27 and #57 to move up 5 spots to #22 (and they got a 4th rounder back)
3. Isles traded #35 and #58 to move up 5 spots to #30
Judging by this, considering that perhaps 15-40 are all very close in talent level... I'd guess that #25 + #39 would get us up within the top 20 no problem. I'd guess that it gets us into the late teens at the very least.

Thank you cheddar. Just what the doctor ordered.
Yeah, seems like the 15-20 range is very attainable. It's a gamble since we could be very well giving up a good 2nd round talent though I'm beginning to trust our scouting and development system more and more with the emergence of Kulemin, Reimer, Schenn, and Gunnar. Assuming of course JFJ's staff was retained...

I think we should trade Boston's pick opposed to Philly's pick as it's looking like we have a chance of Puempel so I'm satifsfied with that. Maybe we can move to 20, 21, 22 and kids like Eberle, Patriocretty, and Giroux were drafted there the last few years.
We better be picking twice in the first round. That's all I can say.
It's one of the firsts and the second to move up in the first. So yes we will be picking twice in the first round we just won't have our second round pick, why are people so confused with this?

No one is confused. I could see Burke trading a first for some scrub roster forward.
Yeah but we don't have your facebook or her facebook.
And that's how it's going to stay.
Sounds like you want a picture of some bros on my personal profile. I can accomodate your preferences if you want that... I don't know why tho... way too many dudes on this site as it is.
I've seen a lot of Lupul - Kadri/Colborne - Kessel guesses on these boards the last couple months, so not everybody. Just hoping this tempers peoples expectations a bit.
