Anyone else not watching Game 7?

My wife and I's 5 year anniversary was this past weekend. Today in the mail shows up 2 tickets for us for Cirque de Soleil at Bridgestone on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.

We saw Cirque about 2-3 years ago and yes it was very cool. I didn't realize until just now that game 7 is at the exact same time. Oh well.

Well...you have some options.

1. DVR
2. The NHL Network (if you get it) will rebroadcast it a good million times
3. If all else fails...watch highlights on *shutter* ESPN.

Yeah, I've decided to DVR just in case it's a classic.

Yeah, it's tough to miss the game, but it would be tougher to have to live with your missing CdS for the next 45 years (35 if it was the Preds). Check the score during intermission. It's allowed (as long as she isn't discussing the show at the time.)

Sincerely,

An Old Wife with a Very Good Memory

I'm not only because I can't stand either team.

True there is the first loser effect but that is superficial. it's the off-season. Time to plan the draft and think about FAs. Relax and watch baseball. (Canada's summertime sport) and workout in the summer sun.

Make sure you add a couple hours on in case it goes to overtime. I made the mistake of not adding a couple hours during the Preds double OT win in game 2 against Vancouver.

There's always an outside chance of the roof collapsing.

I have come to the conclusion that I will only accept a Vancouver GWG if it's scored by Manny Malhotra. Otherwise, Go Bruins.

Alas, I will probably miss most of the game as well due to a prior commitment. But that's why I have a HockeyStreams subscription.

(sorry, BFC )

Between having nothing else to do tomorrow night, GameCenter app, DVR, Twitter, texts from my brother and a couple of friends, and Facebook status updates I don't think I could avoid Game 7 if I wanted to. And trust me, I don't want to.

I won't be watching it live because I'll be playing hockey. But I have my DVR set. DVRs are wonderful things.

Alternate solution to avoid divorce:

1. Skip the Circus for the game
2. Find out on a scale of 1-10 how mad she is
3. Buy one piece of jewlerry for every number on the scale
4. Everyone wins

(in case there was any question)

I'm home alone for an entire month No Wife No daughter (It's sucks at times) Will watch it unless Vancouver gets up big early then it goes off. The thought of Burrows and Kesler raising the cup makes me want to puke.
