same lol i have been looking at he calendar everyday for june 24th. I stopped looking at it for three days and I got so pumped up knowing that hte draft is next weeekkk!!!!
I still don't think Kadri or Colborne will be moved. But yea off-season signings/trades are what I am looking forward to right now...the wait is freaking killing me.
Same here...can't move Kadri or Colborne, thats what we would be looking to draft, young centers.
I've been following Pogge, and Tlusty, and Caputi, and Steen, and Hanson and blah blah blah he's gonna be awesome for years. I'm so sick of our prospects. They are nice to follow when your teams lousy, they give you hope, but they rarely match the hype. I'm waiting for the real season to start. I want to see the big team do well.
How about: watch hockey and make up your mind before you fall for the wrong type of false media-hype?! None of those were hype worthy at any point of their career/development for the regular observer.

Alexander Steen is a actually a pretty good little player, I don't understand why he was even listed. The move to get rid of him was just a stroke of genius from Fletch
that goes away when u get a g/f ..lol
seriously im concentrating on my detroit tigers .......saw JUSTIN VERLANDER just toy with the indians last nite .....hockey can wait .....all the hype ......all the burke blah blah ......when burke can get us a stud ....ill spend my summers worrying about next years anxiety

I don't think resigning him to play 3 million dollars to play on the 3rd line is a great idea when we had Armstrong who is more of a prototypical 3rd liner. I'm not upset Steen was traded, but I would of wanted a much better return that Stempniak. Oh, and I wanted to trade Stajan opposed to Steen considering Stajan was getting ice-time.
Ahhh...a true Leaf fan. (we always hit the course early!!)
Yea, your right. Been out on course early each of the last 7 years. Playing
golf(wack--f*&%) can be like watcing the Leafs sometimes. But next spring I am sure I won't be on the course until late June cause I will be busy watching the Leafs in the cup finals.
haha this. way too early for me to get excited about anything on-ice.
i'll be excited for pre-season once we get a better idea of what we're going into next season with. the only excitement in pre-season is the young guys/prospects battling it out for spots...and for all we know, some of those guys (Kadri, Colborne, etc) will be moved in the offseason.
Well its about 6pm and I'm pretty excited about the buds on ice
Sorry.. I'm not "hyped" at all about the pre-season games.
I will, however, be mildly curious to see what will happen at the Draft next week and during the up-coming Free Agent Frenzy period.
Beyond that, there is very little for me to get excited about. The Leafs have been a clusterf**k for the last several years, and I really don't see that status changing for the better any time soon. Too many holes need to be filled, and it doesn't appear that there is a sufficient number of quality players to go around, so the Leafs will likely continue to have a difficult time trying to properly fill those holes.
Until such time as Burke (or his successor) can build a legitimate play-off/Stanley Cup contender, then I'll get "hyped".. but not before then. By then, there might actually be something good worth getting "hyped" about.
