pretty impressive growth from rds

needs chl or ahl like everyone has said. Hopefully they'll show more football games too.

Really? That'd be cool, but are they gonna jack up the price on the package? I know i don't get tsn2 with tsn.

Tour de France? lol

Otherwise it looks solid

As long as they don't clone their current crew in their evil lab.

I work for Videotron and TSN2 does come with TSN. Unless you're still with the analogic technoly (aka no receiver/illico) I'm confident that it will come as one package. On the other hand, I don't think RDS Info will be part of the package, but I can be wrong. And the price doesn't change.

Don't know who your provider is, but with Videotron (30 channels), I automatically got TSN2 when it came out since I was subscribed to TSN.

Both RDS and RDS2 will show MLS games

I'm guessing Impact games on RDS and the other MLS teams on RDS2

LOL, this guy is so funny when he says "SLAMMMMM BANNGGGG DUUUNK!". I just hope they sign for somes NBA games + the playoffs. And obviously, they just need Q games and why not AHL + SEL (if possible). And le Tour de France isn't bad with Ryder Hesjedal. I like this diverse content. I don't know Rugby but it can be interesting. I just hope they add analyst/reporter.

What's wrong with the Tour? Lots of people love watching it.

So let's see...you have RDS....RDS2....RDS Info.....TVA Sports....and nobody presents hockey other than the Habs and the Sens? Nothing for the Q or any Junior leagues...nothing on the AHL front? Nothing on the NCAA front.....I mean no hockey has been added?

That's way more frustrating than having just 1 sports channel....

We probably need to wait for Radio-Canada Sport. With RDS, RDS2, RDS INFO, TVA SPORT and Radio-Canada Sport, they will not have the choice...

Just can't believe it. We'll see Ping-Pong, Chess and Monopoly Championship much more than hockey....There is a market for other hockey than the Habs. There is a market for people who would want to follow Habs prospects.

I hope all Impact MLS games are going to be on TV. They say they're showing all Alouettes games and a certain number of MLS games including Impact games. It would make sense that most MLS games on RDS are Impact games, but I don't think they have exclusive rights. We'll see next year...

I'm surprised that they are not covering the Lightning.

March Madness, Rugby and Tour de France, yet no AHL? No thanks.

I'd be interested to know what is the percentage of the viewers that actually know the rules of rugby.

I actually know the rules and played it in high school.

But right there, in that statement, proves how it's not popular in a province like Quebec (from what I know). Why play a bunch of sports only a percentage of people here will watch, when you can please the majority and play some major junior leagues of hockey? It really boggles my mind.

I guess most will just settle with guys sweating it out, as they pedal hard on those little bikes, trying to snap a ribbon and throw their arms in the air.

Yawn. Pass.

They should have a "Sports analyst academy" so we could vote off all the inept people at RDS and MAYBE find some hidden talent.

I'm sure Carl Carmoni would be ecstatic if mini-putt ever comes back on tv.

It would be awesome if they could show some Bulldogs games, but I guess the market is not big enough? I know they would probably get more listeners than let's say ping-pong, but the production costs are I guess way more expensive.

But if rds crew could cover like 30% of Hamilton's season, it would at least create more knowledgeable hockey analysts, because as of right now, they only know habs players. The only guy on RDS that knows prospect/non NHL player is Stephane Leroux.
