I don't know. Brunet is a lot like McGuire. He's not all that, but he's pure entertainment. He needs to be paired up with a solid analyst. Dubé comes to mind.

Same news as last year... we'll see.

He's creepy the way he looks at the camera, but that won't a problem when he's analyzing a game.

Meh, I actually like Flynn. Not as an analyst during the games, but I think he could do a good job between the periods. He's one of the few level-headed analysts they have. I remember he was one of the first to call out Carbo, at a time when everyone else was defending their friend.

This year Brunet was not as bad as in the previous seasons. Not saying he's good, but I saw some kind of improvement I guess. He was a bit less annoying. There's not a much better choice out there (which is REALLY sad considering it's hockey for god sake), except Dubé which seems impossible.

Sad day.

Yes he's a terrible colour guy, but he was OUR terrible colour guy. It was fun to mock him on a daily basis, lol.

I honestly think he is the opposite of Brunet. Brunet talks with a sh** vocabulary while Denis tries to speak TOO well...wannabe moliere or something.

Btw, Pierre et Marc doesnt sound really good lol.

The last time I listened to Flynn, it was at the draft and he wouldn't shut up about how Gallagher was a bad pick and the habs should have drafted "un bon p'tit québécois" even though he admitted to not knowing Gallagher.

I hate him ever since and I'd be afraid that if he gets Brunet's job it'll just be same french-praising, kostitsyn-bashing all over again.

Not getting my hopes up this year. Made that mistake last year and was disappointed with the outcome.

Same here, I remember him pimping up Jonathan Brunelle.. He's a good kid, but I don't think he has NHL(or any pro league) potential at all. Sorry!

Denis is pretty good. I'd be really happy with this news, even though I don't nearly hate Brunet as most does.
