Canadiens vs. Bruins in Halifax | Sept. 25

In case you didn't know, the Habs/Bruins will be playing a pre-season game in Halifax this September. The last one was a few years ago. Boston won 7-3 but it was still very entertaining. Lots of fights and bad blood. So, just a FYI to Habs fans in the Maritimes.

That's great! But I just tried to buy tickets for my son and I and the only ones left are in the upper bowl corners.

The prices for me are hard to justify right now, hopefully my work will have some and I can score some tickets.

As much as I'd love to go, I made a deal with myself to never pay more than 75 bucks to go see something at the Metro Centre. Luckily the Pixies the other night was 65. I'd rather pay the extra 50 to see a game in Montreal this year where I have a chance of losing my hearing, not cheering awkwardly like Halifax usually does (anybody else ever notice that Halifax has no idea when to clap for a song? God, it happens once or twice at each concert, where we'll cheer like 20 seconds before a song ends, or we just stay completely silent when we should be cheering).

I've got tickets already. Sect 9 row O. My wife has been saying that the HABS - booins rivalry is the best one, now she'll get to see a game with some regulars and top prospects and the hate on is still pretty high.

Can't wait!

Hopefully for you fans out there the Habs put out quite a few regulars. Always fun against the hated bruins

My awesome wife surprised me with tickets. Section 5 Row B in the corner.

When she surprised me she led off with a joke.

What's the difference between a cigarette machine and the Toronto Maple Leafs?

A Cigarette machine has Players. lol

She was going to put the Bruins instead but where they finished ahead of us the Leafs sounded better to her.

I know! I figured I'd wait because the last two or three pre-season games in Halifax were not close to being sold out. Now I'm considering just going alone and getting a single in the lower bowl corner. Sides are apparently sold out already.

First 6 or 7 rows are good seats, IMO. Beyond that, you're stuck behind the skyboxes. Which means an obstructed view of the other side of the ice and the scoreboard. I sat up there for Crosby's Oceanic vs the Mooseheads in the Q finals and it was brutal. No way I'd pay $65 to sit up there for anything.

Anyone know if this is the first (or only) pre-season game between Montreal and Boston?

As long as we don't have to play them on Boston's opening night.

Ughh I'll be in University at the time, otherwise I'd totally try and go.

Going to Montreal in February for a couple of games anyway.

My tix are already lined up, at the cool price of $0. Yeah, you read that right.
