I remember walking into a pub in Manchester (England) a couple of years ago when I was wearing my Jets jersey. Some guy at the end of the bar starting singing, “There’s a buzz on the street, the hottest ticket in town, you got a seat, this is it there’s no doubt, it’s winner takes all, it’s what the game’s all about . . .” It turned out there was a guy from Edmonton, Gatineau, Halifax, and myself there. We had the whole bar singing the song b the end of the night.

Of course that is a bit of a generalization. Many Canucks fans are fun loving, civil, reasonable, and level headed.
I have to agree with you.

Every team has a few idiot fans and I've witnessed Flames and Oilers fans fighting.

But the "bad" Canuck fans are a different breed.

They are in your face and enjoy ruining the experience of other fans.

I don't like them and I will not associate with them.

I currently have a blue Canucks jersey, white 80's Jets jersey, blue Leafs jersey (from when I was younger, jersey is about 12 years old), and an old school white Lightning jersey.

when i go out i like to wear my anyang halla hockey jersey, 2 time defending champions of the asian hockey league and only a 10 minute walk from where i live. not a lot of people wearing hockey jerseys outside in korea, unless you go to itaewon (english town)

ps. the halla's logo is a polar bear ( i think halla means mighty bears). hope that doesn't end up on the winnipeg jersey as well. still, it's a pretty sweet looking shirt.

i live in bc too....after game 5 I wore my dale hawerchuk jersey downtown and I got nothing but props...lots of high fives and "sweet jersey" type remarks. maybe its because it was after a game 5 and everyone was in a good mood...but ive worn jets gear dozens of times in vancouver over the years and got nothing but respect....if i wore ut downtown after game 7...that might be a different story
